I got ripped off by this piece of crap! I did a job for this guy and never got paid.. called him a few hundred times and he had plenty of excuses. Hope he has lots of boyfriends in the slammer!!! F U joe

We believed Joe was the actual contractor, so gave him a downpayment. He's only the "general contractor" so he gets money for doing nothing but lying to us! Anyone wanting to call him, forget it. His phone is not working, and neither is his website. How convenient. I'd really like any info to track him down to get some money back too! Please post anything you have!

I too have had problems with Joe..... along with many others. He embezzled from his boss in South Dakota - stole his best friend's credit cards and charged thousands of dollars - I think he only got 6 months jail time on the embezzlement charges. He cannot live here in the small town we grew up in - as he has lied to and ripped off about everyone he knows!!

I did not hire Joe for any construction work.... I have been chasing him for child support for over 10 years! I see that you indicated that they are taking Joe's house - how do you know that? Have you found any other assets of his? The state of Iowa does not give me much info on him. I am in South Dakota - and the only info I get is when he has a court date, etc. Let me know if you have any other info!

joe isnt a bad guy he is just lazy so in oreder to get money he uses everyone elses if you have a problem with joe i do not blame you. for i have hated him almost my whole life until i realized that he is just not grown up he is very inmature and does not no when to quit. the last time a saw him was 2 years ago. and the first thing he said to me was, i missed you bud. now people from van meter can say what they want. when i was down there for his wedding he sure had lots of friends there. joe is a well-liked man. he just needs money because he does not know how to get it by himself. i have not talked to him since my b-day. or a month before. but i know he is a kind man, im sorry for everything that he has done to you or your family or you friends. he has moved alot and has had lots of chances to start over. he dosnt know when to quit. he has been this way for a very long time. alot of people know joe as this great person until he does something irresponsible i find it hard to believe that he is not in jail... yet i have not talked to him recently but i plan to for he needs someone that still loves him and understands him more than anyone else
