My family and I are possibly moving to the Bedias area soon. I have an uncle who moved there recently so he doesn't really know about the area. I was visiting around the 1st of May and really liked it there because he seemed to be in a central location. About 20 min. from Huntsville, 30 min. from Conroe etc. Any certain things that I should know good and/or bad?

Bedias is not a bad area at all, but don't expect the 'city life.' Bedias is very much a small country town. You have to drive to Madisonville, Conroe, Huntsville, or Bryan/College Station for big shopping. Any place has it's positive/negative traits. It all depends on how you make your time there. So, overall, Bedias is great if you're ready for small town living. Best of luck!

Unless you want EVERYONE to know your business, do not move here. I repeat DO NOT move here.

I come from a small town. Everyone knowing your business is just part of the package. You learn who to talk to and who not. So actually if there was something that I didn't want anyone to know I would keep it to myself. Even if you tell someone not to say anything 99% of the time they will. But thanks anyway.

If your still planning to move to Bedias, send a post. I have 2, three acre lots for sale. I am well known here and my phone number is on the side of my truck.

You are right, everyone here knows your busines.I was in the hospital 4 weeks and my neighbors fed my animals, watched my house and my mail. My husband had a heart attack a week later and the same thing. While I was in Tulsa (where he had his attack) the same thing. I came back my lawn was mowed, food was brought in to us and my neighbors picked up our meds while they were in Madisonville. I didn't ask for help but they knew we needed it and took care of us. Thank God for our neighbors that know everything about us. And Thank you my neighbors.

My grandfather almost starved to death because my grandmother was always cooking meals and taking them to someone else’s house. Thanks for the memories.

Circle Flies

A cowboy from Texas attends a social function where Barack
Obama is trying to gather more support for his Health Plan.
Once he discovers the cowboy is from President Bush's home
area, he starts to belittle him by talking in a southern
drawl and single syllable words.

As he was doing that, he kept swatting at some flies that
were buzzing around his head. The cowboy says, "Y'all havin'
some problem with them circle flies?"

Obama stopped talking and said, "Well, yes, if that's what
they're called, but I've never heard of circle flies."

"Well Sir," the cowboy replies, "circle flies hang around
ranches. They're called circle flies because they're almost
always found circling around the back end of a horse."

"Oh," Obama replies as he goes back to rambling. But, a
moment later he stops and bluntly asks, "Are you calling me
a horse's ass?"

"No, Sir," the cowboy replies, "I have too much respect for
the citizens of this country to call their President a
horse's ass."

"That's a good thing," Obama responds and begins rambling on
once more.

After a long pause, the cowboy, in his best Texas drawl says
, "Hard to fool them flies, though."

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Aquarius

If you're still happily munching chocolates and all sorts of other goodies, you'll have to take yourself in hand at some point during the coming fortnight. Maybe you'll have to compensate for all the festive over-eating by taking more exercise or cutting back on the calories, or perhaps you'll decide that you can't delay giving up smoking any longer. As Mercury turns in your twelfth house of secrets, messages you receive at this time may be very subtle or contain hidden meanings meant only for your understanding.
