My son in law had a rock hit his truck and knock out a back tail light, He is in management and could not go on strick if he wanted too. These are people that know him and money is tight at their house also, They have a baby with health problems. The local police did nothing-they disappered!!!! So my son in law will have to pay out of his pocket. Thaat is not RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!

Judge Williams doesnt know what he is talking about. You call rock throwing vandalism. If a bomb was thrown and blew up the car now thats terrorism.

this is mild compared to the bigger strikes that have occured over the years. but it's still a shame that 1 man wants to promise everything to his workers, only to take it away from them.how would the rest of you feel to give your all to someone and then have them literally slap you in the face and laugh about it later? this is not a funny situation. and it's a tough one at that.i'm sorry for the workers that have been harmed during this, but they already knew of the consequences when you cross a picket line.anything can happen during a strike. whether it's on a large scale or a small one, things can and do happen.it may not be right,or moral,or whatever, but people will fight back when their livelihood is either taken away from them or they are threatened.if you back a wildcat up in a corner, what's he going to do? he's going to fight to get out of it.that's what his instinct is,and that's what the striker's instinct is--to fight back any way they know how to do so. whether it's right or wrong.i hate seeing this community divided like this. it's really a shame.and i do hope that this thing is settled soon.

It looks like it's already settled: 200 workers on strike, 155 have been permanently replaced.

I can remember the "good ole days" when scabs and rats were taught what a picket line was all about. I find it funny that the scab who alledgely got her car rocked had been laid-off by the company before and could not wait to get back to the same company that screwed her. Then you have this jack-ass judge who called incidents "terrorism". I don't see any troops getting deployed to fight union members. He needs to look up the word before he uses it so loosely. America is losing jobs everyday and the unions are the only ones doing anything to help. Then you have these scabs biting the hand that feeds them.

"He needs to look up the word before he uses it so loosely."
terrorism (n.) The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons.
Now that is straight from the dictionary. Just because the group is not bombing a building and from another Country does not mean that the incident was not a form a terrorism. Please explain to me why throwing a rock at someones car in order to scare them and try to run them off is not a form a terrorism?
No matter what you say about the reasons for the strike, the action that occured is still wrong. In the "good ole days" two wrongs did not make a right. IMHO it still does not. Or have to morales of our society degenorated so far, and we as a people have sunk so low that actions like this are condoned?
If you strike you run the risk of losing your job. There are other people out there that have mouths to feed and bills to pay!
"if you back a wildcat up in a corner, what's he going to do? he's going to fight to get out of it.that's what his instinct is,and that's what the striker's instinct is--to fight back any way they know how to do so. whether it's right or wrong"
Shame on you Angry in Loudon! The strikers are not animals that live on pure instinct! They have a mind that is supposed to be able to think with reason. That is supposed to be the difference between animals and humans. Or are you saying just because they were done wrong that they have the right to behave like animals?

Your right, the unions are helping to speed the flow of jobs to Mexico. The UAW has really helped the auto industry, haven't they?
Tell me what benefit the UAW has given it's workers?(besides job insecurity)

I can'blame anybody for stiking as far as violence goes the "scabs" do things to bring it on themselves ( but they don't tell that part do they) but it will all work itself out it did everywhere else but don't let them run over you because they will if they can

that is the dumbist thing that I have ever heard it is evident that you dont know what you are taking about all that the replacement WORKERS are doing is trying to provide for their families and they see an opportunity to do so, after all is that not what America is about , with the whole "land of opportunity thing"? I can tell you that the actions of the strikers are unprovoked, and no person deserves to be treated like the workers are treated, and yes i am calling them replacement workers and not scabs or whatever childish name you can call them, because they are there to work they are hungry for work or im sure they wouldnt be there. ITs not their fault that the people went on strike and lost their jobs, people need to wake up and realize that it was their own actions that cost them their jobs and financial security. So stop blamming everyone else and go get a job.

you have no idea what you are talking about. i can't understand why all these people make the remark about --go get a job--we have a job.it's to make sure that these so called "replacements" are replaced by the ones who had the job FIRST!!that is my opinion.
