we need better police officers in this town!!

well, i know we lost a very good officer, robert bell. he was a good man and did his job very well, and he was fair. i really don't know why he left. i heard several reasons.

and now we need to get rid of the two we have left. one is a smart a$$, and the other is chief. the chief let his title go to his head, and thats about all. i know someone that as applied for the opening as a police officer, Rick Shadrick, and i know him very well. like robert bell rick is a good man and well quilifed for the job. better yet he would probably be a better chief. he has been a police officer for 12yrs, he as been a private detective, he as a degree in criminal justice, etc. i don't think i need to go on about how well he is quilifed for this postion cause you get the point im trying to make. and what does our chief now have? how long has he been doing this? they made him chief to fast!!!!

but for some reason they would not let him work here just on reserve, so will he get the postion as police officer? he has worked for niota before, and did a good job. but i think some of our politicans have a conflict with him, but why?

i say let him in, and see the difference this town will have. so anyone please give me some feed back.

Hey in town citizen...I too agree that this town needs a complete overhaul of the Police Department. The way robert bell was done was horrible and you're right, rick shadrick would be MORE than qualified to run the department. There would be no senseless ticket writing and no smart comments from his officers, who our children and others uphold as admirable people.

This town's PD needs a change and rick might be able to help. Apparently you know him as well as I do with his background.

Some people help us here! Let's bring a positive change to the PD for once!

Just out of curiosity, who did Rick have conflict with on the board? you don't have to answer if you don't want to BUT are he/she or they still on the board?

Alan Watkins

then he will probably have a hard time getting Watkins to approve him for the job since he is the PO-lease commissioner.

Well, Rick Shadrick don't understand what the problem is with Alan. As far as Rick knows he has done nothing to Alan.

But please do some talking, he would appreciate it. And as a friend of his I would to.

here is how i see it go,
Lady's and gentlemen my name is "insert name here" i would like to present my nomination to the position of "insert position here" here is the qualifications list that you can pick up as you leave this meeting ....I leave the remainder of my time to Alan Watkins for his qualifications.

.. let him use the remaining 1.5 minutes to speak

Folks if you want time to speak get together an have several speakers sign up in your group and then all donate there speaking time to the one speaker of your group ..can you imagine the look on the faces of the council would look like

like this ..The next speaker is jim ."jim speaks 2 minutes"
the mayor says ok next is tom. tom says I would like to have jim speak for me he has my remaining time and so on

or if the good mayor say no can do then all your speakers read from the same script or page jim talks 2 minutes then tom takes it from there nelle from there ect....
