I have my own thoughts thank you, and I write them as I see it. I see you must be a person who likes to drink,(then get on here and post) You and Non write what you have on your minds, so do the rest of us, it is just pissing you two off because some of us don't get on here and agree with the way you all think ! And as far as the stop signs go... a stop sign, is a stop sign, no matter what else it has written on it, it still means we ALL have to STOP. And maybe some of us can't get on here everyday, I would think we all have to go to work now and then. And we do have freedom of speech, so I am exercising my right just as you are. You say what you want to say, and I will do the same, even if we don't agree on the same things.

From what I have read, The few idiots that are UNeducated dicussing nonsense on line,do not know anything.They just like to gripe cause they have a boring life.These kind of people you do not associate with.Every town has them.These kind of people are the liars of the town in which a person does not talk with.I stumbled on this site by accident sorry I saw it.

I could not agree with this statememt more Niota Son. I tried to express my thoughts too, But then some of them start name calling and making rude uncalled for comments. It just makes them mad when our views are different from theres. So im really glad your back on here, now i dont feel soooo alone. Im not trying to convence them that there wrong, becouse thats impossible, I just want them to understand that not all of us feel the same way as they do.
And the rudeness and nasty comments just means we hit upon a nerve.

I don't remember calling anyone any bad names, if so....."Sorry" I just wanted to get in on the conversation, and have my opinions heard. I'm sorry that we all can't agree on the same things, but that is what makes this a good place to air everything out....Right ?

I agree with you 100%. I am originally from Niota and am currently attending college. It is stuff like this website that pushes all successful and truly prominent individuals away from this town. I actually sat down and read most of the comments from the past year on this forum as well as a few others about Niota. After reading what everyone had to say, I think it will be nice to have a breath of fresh air in Niota (regarding the mayor). Not long ago my parents (both very prominent individuals) tried to attend one of board meetings for this city. After it was all said and done, they were convinced that they were wasting their time. This being said, I firmly believe that the people of Niota have proven that they are incapable of having a sufficient government and therefore it would please me greatly to see the entire town of Niota disassembled and somehow placed as a part of Athens. Let's face it, the citizens in Niota aren't capable of running an effective government so why not get rid of it? It's towns like this that give "small towns" a bad name on a national level, which is a real shame cause I would love to raise my family in a small town environment. However, it has been proven without a shadow of a doubt that the citizens are no longer educated enough to run a government. This city is headed for a fate similar to Calhoun. I just hope to see it sooner rather than later. I have lived in Niota my entire life and hate to see it go, but with uneducated hicks like the people on this site.....it is a must.
