So 14 of them have already been hired? When will the other 10 be called?

I went for three interviews and got called for the managers position today. Although I am a black man, that didn't have a factor in it. Hope to see some of you all there!

Doing govt work GE has to have so many women, mexicans and blacks etc due to federal labor laws. Many Mexicans look white and as the mexican population increases in the US in around 20-30 years, whites will actually be an minority. However, often times like getting into college and how Obama got into Columbia despite poor marks, these regs. can be reverse discrimination. None the less, out of 2,200 applicants on file from last round, surely GE can find better ratio than 50% of blacks hired that do not have a record. However, dont believe everything you hear and I doubt that is correct?

You people are morons. Background checks aren't even returned yet. And out of a group of 30 who interviewed together, there were zero blacks and only one woman. Doesn't matter if your're white, black, brown, yellow, green, etc...if you can do the job correctly, us GE employees don't care. We just want people willing to work and work correctly.

so are they done calling people? My husband hasnt got called yet but someone said they might call this Monday. Is that true?
