Fatal crash in Nortonville

Any one know about the auto accident in Nortonville this morning? I heard there was a high speed chase and someone was killed.

HOPKINS COUNTY, KY – Isurf News has been informed that at approximately 4:30 this morning there was a traffic accident with one fatality and several serous injuries.

According to Kentucky State Police officer Robert Littlepage, the State Police was on received a request to assist the Hopkins County Sheriff’s department on a reported robbery. As units traveled down highway 62, one officer, Trooper Darron Holliman, spotted a vehicle resembling that of which was described in the robbery report.

Holliman immediately reported the sighting and crossed into the eastbound lane heading into Nortonville. The robbery suspect, one Christopher Adams, sped up in an attempt to elude Holliman. As Adams neared the stop sign intersecting Highway 62 and 41, he failed to see an oncoming semi, driven by Earl Brown of Dawson Springs, crossing before him. Adams’ vehicle slammed into the side of the tractor trailer.

There were three passengers in the vehicle with Adams, Phillip Windham of Madisonville and two juveniles. One of the juveniles was pronounced dead on the scene. Adams, Windham and the other juvenile were flown to Evansville for treatment of extensive injuries.

HOPKINS COUNTY, KY – One homeowner is shot at during an early morning home invasion Saturday while another is shot in the leg.

The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department responded to a series of home invasion robberies in the southern portion of Hopkins County along Highway 62 Saturday morning February 20th. Reports state that the home invasions took place on Lucas Circle, Roy Terry Loop and St. Charles Road between 3:40 and 4:30AM.
During the robberies, the suspects fired shots at one homeowner and shot a female in the leg at another location.

The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department reports an investigation is ongoing at this time.

There are two christopher adams in hopkins county jail past inmates--one is 37, the other is 19...going to bet it's the 19 year old...There was a mrs adams at hanson elementary back in the 80's...i think her boy would be about mid 30's now...i wonder if the 37 year old is her son. Anyone know?

Anyone know who the juvenile girl is? This is so sad that young lives have to end this way.

I am appalled by how inconciderate to human life some of the posters on this site are. Yes these young soles made some mistakes in their lives, but these individuals are still someones son. daughter, brother, sister, etc. The so called "Best Town on Earth" obviously does not have the "Best People on Earth" in it. Or at least judging by the commments I read on here. If anyone knows the identity of the young lady that was flown from the accident site please let us know. God forgives our sins maybe we should too.

At least no innocent people were seriously hurt. The majority of these idiots always end up killing someone's loved one instead of their own dumbasses.

I am sorry for your loss, and it's a real shame that these idiots have nothing to say except a bunch of lies. Seems like thats what most people on here like to do. WHAT A SHAME. I guess these judgemental idiots must have low self esteem, thats why it makes them feel better to always put others down.
