April she was awarded 150,000 for her tree hugger work. May she brought a bull dozer in and moved her creek that runs in front of her house. She took off a side a her mountain and filling in the banks of the Pond Fork River. Someone needs to call the DEP and the EPA and the Army Corps of Engineers on her. She filling in the bank of the River and building a dam and bottle necking the river.

i really under stand what your saying i used to work on a surface mine drove a rock truck had to support my family.. and i really have a lot of respect and proud of our wv coal miner!!!!
but a lot of the coal they are mining could be done under ground and that would employee a lot more people, i know its much more dangerous.. but facts are union deep mines are safer then what they where years ago and safer then any massey mines... and surface minning is a really dangerous job!!! but what maria and a lot of people are trying to say is deep mine all we can get employee more men and wemon. get all the coal that can be got under ground then the last resort when we cant get it by deep minning.. rip the top of the mountains off!!!!! maria lost a lot from surface minning it destroyed her home, and the minning company don't care!!! these big coal company's don't care about any of us that live here,, they don't... go look at some of the floods in mingo that minning destroyed people's home's and they are some things you cant replace.. dont be mad look at both side's. i don't want to see anyone loose their jobs.. our wv coal minners are the best!!!!

coal mining didnt bother her one bit when she worked at park ave and taking all the coal miners money from tips and stuff, hell those "COALMINERS" supported her stupid ass for years and this is how she repays them by trying to take their jobs away..thats ok KARMA will get her back in the long run, always does
