Missing dog-reward

Missing from the Washington-heights area of Danville. Female Pit Bull, around 40lbs. Buckskin in color. Very friendly. Ears are cropped short. Missing since June 30th, any information is appreciated, reward for her safe return. Answers to Brynna. Spayed and up to date on all vaccinations.

Totally agree about the pit bulls. They terrify me and I would not let my child go to a house where there is one.

Get real, how many of these friendly, wouldn't hurt a fly, family pets have turned on a child (or adult) in an instant and killed or badly injured them. Then the parents want to cry around and say "he was a good family dog, I didn't think he would do that!" Read the facts, these are pit bulls! The statistics say it all! On one court show just today the judge even said, "why is it that all the cases I hear that involve a dog attack, the dog is a pit bull -- because pit bulls are a dangerous breed!" I don't know why people can't get that through their head!

For the safety of your child, I hope you protect them from this animal if you do find it and choose to keep it. And I certainly hope it does not attack another while out running wild!

You wanna know why kids get attacked by dogs? I bet over 90% of the time it's because their parents weren't watching them or the kid didn't have enough brains to not pull their ears or try to play professional wrestling with a strange dog. Pit bulls get picked on because of their physical structure and capabilities. By this same rule I guess we should just shoot and kill anyone that works out or works a physically demanding job. It's ignorant to think that a breed is genetically dangerous. Dogs have textbook instinctual reactions to things. Without training any dog is territorial and prone to be violent with anyone. So if a pit is violent it's because it was raised to be.

Shawnda...people are crazy. People are more dangerous than a dog. I have a boxer and had a german shepherd....they have never hurt anyone. But, one time a person approached my male and he sensed that the person didn't like him or felt insecure. So he turned the other way after growling. It's alllll about how the animal is raised. People need to teach their kids how to treat people and animals. I went to my moms house a couple weeks ago and the neighbors kids were hitting their dog with a stick!!! What's wrong with people....you people wonder why they become aggressive and insecure around people?!?!

I have had pitts most of my life & they have been very loyal and are the best & smartest dogs ive ever owned &they are so protective over my family esp my daughter im so sick of ppl talking shit abt them!! any dog can turn on u if u dnt raise them right!! id rather leave my 8 yr old daughter w my dogs then risk her being babysat by a child molester!!
