you guys are nuts. why do people need a "dog park"? for gods sake we have how many parks in this town? jackson st, stephens park, rubey st, the one in englewood, and the one on rustic dr. im not sure you would be arrested if you walked your dog in one of those, although some of the police like to drive slow and gawk at people sometimes,,, just wave real big. then they will go away ha!

I wanted to go to the dog park so bad today but it rained the whole day. It seems like every day I get off it rains. Skip has been wanting to go to the dog park forever.

I heard some really good news yesterday one of the council members told me that they were discussing putting some kind of pool in the dog park for the dogs to swim in. I dont know for sure how serious they are but at least there talking about it.

I think its rediculous that the city is spending a bunch of money on a pool for dogs. All of the things we need money for and were spending it on dogs.

My dog is in favor of a pool. He is going to vote for higher taxes to help pay for the pool in the next election. ACORN already has him registered.

It was a nasty weekend at the dog park it was very cold. The good thing about it though there wasnt alot of people with there dogs there which gave max my dog alot of freedom. Has anyone heard anymore about the swimming pool or have they dropped that issue for now.

I took my dog to the dog park today for some exercise. We live in the country and she eats a lot of junk food like road kill and cow dung. One of the more popular areas in the park is a big red oak tree where all the studs hang out. She is a real tease so I always walk her by there so she can get her swag on. As we neared the tree we heard alot of barking and howling. Much to our surprise it was over Fluffy, one of the area cats who was in the tree. You can imagine her disappointment. There are rules posted on the gate that clearly state no cats are allowed in the park. In the past I have asked Fluffy to leave, but this was the straw that broke the pussy's back! I dialed 911 and was outraged when the Macon police came and told me it was out of their jurisdiction! They told me to contact animal control! There is a puffectly good cat park behind Taco-Bell. It even has new scratching posts and string toys that where installed from the Obama stimulus program. Why can't Fluffy and the other cats hang out in their own park? I urge all dog owners who read this thread to contact the Macon City council and demand the cats use their park behind Taco-Bell!!!!

Daily Horoscope for November 29

Aries

How you feel about your values and how your associates feel may not mesh too well today; avoid conversations about morals and scruples. Of course, you could be a politician or a religious worker, in which case you may be tiring of your own rhetoric. It's hard to be good all the time, especially when everyone else seems to be having a jolly time being bad.
