hes just getting to a bail reduction hearing so your answer is no. the charges carry a max of 20 yrs

Thats all theres something wrong with our judicial system when someone can brutially beat someone half to death and only get 20 years.

Whats the difference ask the intensive care unit if it was a brutal beating or not. I bet they will beg to differ with you.

you don't end up in icu for several days then rusk rehab from just one hit come on people use your head.

I dont think I would bragg about being friends with someone that commited such a hanous crime as this. I have all the faith in the world that our judicial system will do the right thing and see to it that hes not out to pull something like this again.

Has anyone heard for sure how many years hes going to get in prison.

How is the kid doing? Is he making progress in his recovery?

funny thing is...i seen Michael Flowers the other day....you know the kid and his buddies goes and murders a boy with a baseball bat and wooden axe handel...and hes out...yea great judicial system...

i have heard that ben is doing really good in his recovery. He is now at home with his family. If anyone else wants to know how ben is doing, let me know. I work with a friend to bens family and get updates periodically.

Thats great I would really like to know. I hope ben is planning on suing them for pain and suffering and what ever else he can get out of them.

I AM interested in knowing where you received your law degree from?( no really Im not)
Thats some funny stuff youre thinking for real but, If thats what you got from the disclosure today and the judge denying request for bail reduction yet again, perhaps you should invest in interpreter so you wont be confused or disappointed.
Myself and many others were even more encouraged and reassured after todays hearing that justice will be served and punishment will be dealt accordingly for this crime committed by SHANE HICKS.

Do you realize that even though your identity is not known your ip address is easily obtained by authorities who have monitored this forum since its beginning? Many who made comments similar to yours were visited shortly thereafter by investigators.
