If your a whitetail hunter lets hear your stories I love to talk deer hunting. Maybe we can actually have some constructive conversations besides all of this trash talk on these forums.

I love hunting deer and I think since they put this point restriction in place theres more bigger deer than ever. I think this is going to be the year for big deer being killed.

Ive been seeing some really big bucks on my property. They have been really hitting the bean fields hard right now. You mark my words they are going to break the state record this year. Ive got two bucks that will score in the 180's to 190's on game camera and probably 25 others that will score in the 150's.

Im going to hunt on some conservation property south of bevier at the end of FF black top. I was going there the other day and the last gravel road to the right before you get to the end of FF black top stood the biggest buck I have ever seen in my life. It was a monster I dont no who owns this but It would be pretty hard to pass up if I was driving to my hunting spot during rifle season. Not that Im condoning poaching but it was that big of deer.

Is there any conservation ground on that gravel road your talking about. I might have to look into that me and my brother and three sons have been looking for a place where we can kill a big buck and this sounds pretty good.

I saw a huge doe, just east of the Ethanol Plant...she just stood there and let me get a good look at her. When I hit her it threw her in the other lane and another car hit her. She looked real damn good and so did the front of my car. Thankfull for good insurance..$4000.00 worth. Go get 'em hunters..we have WAY too many I wish they would loosen the rules for one hunting season to thin them out good. Good luck hunters!!!!

I think if you turn on that gravel road before you get to the end of ff black top and go west theres a bunch of conservation ground to hunt on back there. I think they call that the tuttle bridge road theres been some big deer taken in that area about every year.

Ive hunted that area alot at the end of FF blacktop south of bevier. Last year they planted some sunflower fields on the east side of the road and I saw a couple of nice bucks but I was hunting with my bow and just didnt get a close enough shot. One of the deer in particular had a third horn growing up in the center of its rack like a unicorn I didnt know if anyone had heard weather it had gotten killed or not. Not that it really matters but I was just curious.

I went down south of bevier last night right before dark just looking around and right before you get to the railroad tracks at the slack washer on the north side of the road there was a real nice buck standing out in that field. The deer was standing about 300 yards up the field from a fairly large pond.

I bow hunted down there this morning saw a little six pointer and several does. Theres alot of sign around the trails look like cattle have been running through them. I was kind of surprised I was the only vehicle on the piece at the end of ff black top this morning. As much as everyone has been talking about it on this forum I figured it would be loaded with hunters. I ran across two permanent stands while I was down there I didnt think you could build permanent stands I thought you had to use portable ones.

I shot a real nice twelve pointer last night. I shot it in the elmer area. I had some friends score it and it scored 118 1/8 thats probably not a monster in some peoples book but its the biggest deer Ive ever shot. I think it was just a 1 1/2 year old buck I would say it would have been a dandy if it was a little older but the bad thing about hunting in elmer is you better take them while you get the chance because they kill everything up here. If I would have let the deer go the neighbors would have shot it for sure.

WOOH HOOH! you should be proud of yourself for taking a potential trophy out of the gene pool in your area. Maybe one of these days you people will learn its got to start with you dont worry about weather its going to jump the fence and the neighbor shoot it because if you shoot it its a done deal for sure. And Im sorry to burst your bubble but if you think a 118 class twelve pointer is a trophy then you better get out of the game to start with because you definately dont know what a trophy is.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Cancer

If you thought yesterday was fraught with tension the temperature rises a few notches again today, as Mars turns retro in your house of finances and values. What's eating you? Maybe you're annoyed because your spare time is being eroded by duties that are weighing heavily on your shoulders. You might also be miffed by the flippant attitude of a certain person who you think should be taking life a lot more seriously. Calm down or you'll blow a gasket.
