Sir, if you you would like to take our conversation off this list, my email is coheelee@gmail.com
I too, would like to have an adult conversation. I can't guarantee anything, but I can at least get us talking, which is my sole interest. I have no desire to be a pariah to your community.

What justme and hippiehater do not understand is that my choice is to sell this land and move, but it is not my call. There is too much bad blood for me to plant my rotting corpse at 4600 Davis Road, but for every insult, my roots there just grow deeper. If they want us entrenched for a fight, they will get it. I have absolutely no doubt that we will prevail in a legal battle.

I think a green burial is a great idea. It will really reduce my CO2 footprint.

Cremation

Cremation is the best way. Why waste land?
Cremation, or if you want to go green how about a huge blender to render you as a liquid, then fold that in with the ground. Human bones take a long time to decompose ( hey dont we find people from 10,000's of years ago?)
I like the big blender idea. if you are tired of this world you can jump in, or we can drop your remains in there.
has anyone brought up bio hazardous people? HIV Hepatitis, TB, Syphillip, um Syphillis, etc

HIV Hepatitis, TB, Syphillip, um Syphillis, etc Environmental impact of natural burial is minimal. Cremation requires the use of fossil fuels and releases toxins such as Hg from dental work into the atmosphere. Natural burial actually nourishes the land. The diseases you mention are sexually transmitted. Unless you plan on having sex with one of the corpses, I think you are pretty safe. There are many methods of after-death care. One of the latest is promession - placing the body into liquid nitrogen and then grinding it into compost. This method is not available in the United States at this time. I believe it is offered in Norway.

Oops, I missed TB, not sexually transmitted, but again, unless you are in direct contact with a corpse where is the problem? All funeral directors face the same disease risk.
