Oprah is coming to Klamath, family says

Did this event happen? I see no news about it now. If it didn't, could it be at a later date?

Yes, it did. It was maybe a year and a half ago now, but it is true. Nakita is my aunt and she contracted bacterial and viral meningitis but is fine now. Thank you for all the love and support.

don't we only wish, with those headliners in this small town their would be some kind of media. and we would of heard something throught the grapevine at least...

i remember when that happened and not to long ago i was at a friends house and her grown son and his girlfriend at the time where there also and the girlfriend from what i understood she knew the family and also said that oprah was comming to town to do a story on her but i also agree with the person from chi it would have been every advertised in this small town, so not sure if she was going to and did not make it or never was going to. to small of a town for some not to have known someone who seen her or was at the fundraiser to go to the next person they knew and so forth, thats how it works here in this small town, word of mouth is the best media here.
