Our environment is in total turmoil... Have to deal with nasty employees in stores, India Indians when we need support for appliances, computers, etc. Management of these establishments and/or organizations don't care! Time for us to give them a "wakeup call"...

Lytle is not getting anothe HEB, spoke to one of the managers and thats something that they do not intend to do for a long time, if ever. It would take like a super walmart to come in for Heb to have to compete against before they do something. They are always packed but that doesn't mean they make a ton of money compared to other HEB's when all people buy is generic products and cheap cuts of meat.

I spoke to someone with HEB. Believe it or not. Since the opening of the store, it has only seen an increase of about 5% customer wise.

Think about it, it is the same people using the store as when they opened. Only reason HEB had bought all that land is because Wal Mart was going to come in. Now that that is no more, now HEB not going to add on

Well the HEB itself isn't bad. I get Monsters from there every once in a while when I'm thirsty on my way down to 210.

Still, it'd be nice to have somewhere else to go. I was thinking of opening up an internet cafe with some friends of mine, but I'm keen enough on Lytle's gaming community to know whether or not it'd be a good idea.

As a person who works in customer service, I have to say that it goes both ways. How do you know that the person before you didnt treat the cashier really badly, or that maybe just maybe these people have lives too and there might be something going on in them. Maybe your that bad customer and they recognize you from the last time you treated them like crap. As for the young kids talking about personal matters, that is inappropriate. There are no excuses for that kind of behavior. All Im saying is, try to be a litte considerate of the people waiting on you. Try smiling genuinly, its contagious. When you treat people well more likely than not they'll return the gesture.

first of all it is not my job to go in there ane make the employees "smile" i honestly don't care if they smile or even speak, just get the job done! second, regardless of the attitude of the customer they are still the PAYING customer! maybe you need to go back to customer service training because i think you have it all wrong!

Don't even get me started on Lytle HEB. I don't like going there unless I absolutely have to. I prefer doing my shopping in San Antonio when I have other errands to run. I get tired of cashiers texting in between customers and the lack of courtesy from all the young employees. All they talk about is what they did the night before or what they're doing that night. I started working as a cashier when I was 14 at a grocery store (before child labor laws)and I was always told to be respectful and courteous and to NEVER forget that the customer is ALWAYS right. Seems to me many workers at all types of businesses have forgotten that. Something needs to open near HEB so they can have some competition and lower their prices. I was told by my brother who is a manager at an HEB in San Antonio that Walmart plans on opening a store withing 5 miles of every HEB. This can't happen soon enough! Hurry up Walmart!!! Build something somewhere in the area already!

Apparently you have not been trained to provide Customer Service! How to actively listen, making the customer your NUMBER 1 priority, etc. Without us, you are out of work!

At least heb is better than going to super s in devine. I go to super s and pay $4.95 for a box of cereal straws for my kids. I go to heb or walmart....$2.50 for the same box!!! super s is way overpriced bcuz no1 wants to waste gas for 1 or 2 items. Heb is at least fair priced....

Lytle HEB is one nasty store and very unprofessional. I have found that if you shop early in the morning it's not as bad. I live about 18 miles away from the store, so I try to stay away as much as possible. I once needed a price check and one of the managers started flirting with me. Totally so unprofessional. I dont know his name but he was a tall Mexican man in his thirty's or maybe early forty's I believe he was some kind of nonperishable managers, like a general manager and so butt ugly poor thing. Their meat department also sucks. The meat is so tough and old they thinks people are stupid. And for the head man that runs the store should consider hiring adults not children on the front end. The best improvement the store could start with is by cleaning house with employees starting with some of the management. That might be a good start for HEB.
