Corrupt Wisconsin Dells Cops

I want to report a corrupt Wisconsin Dells Cop. He stopped me for running a red light. It was yellow. But then, he said for $50.00, he would let me go, I paid him the $50.00 and he let me go. I know I should'nt complain, but after thinking about it, I believe that he was corrupt. If he really thought I ran the red light, he should have given me a court date. His name is Scott Albrecht. He must be a weekend cop. I have read before that that the Wisconsin Dells cops are corrupt, beating people. Don't go to the Wisconsin Dells.....Go somewhere else that is not so corrupt.

I had a run in with him too. I am from the U.P., he said that he stopped me for speeding. He said that there was a way that I did not have to get a ticket and be taken to the station. That I could pay a street fine of $100.00 right here and now. I did not want to pay it but I had my two kids with me and where would he have taken them? So, I paid him and he let me go. I will never come back to the Wisconsin Dells.

Wow, I have been stopped by Officer Albrecht too. He was hinting about a payoff, but I did'nt have much cash with me, so I got a ticket. I had to pay just over a $140.00. If I only would have had like #35.00 to pay off that crook, I could have saved some cash.

Officer Scott Albrecht is a douchbag. I went to school with him and he has been scum from the beginning. He "hunts" deer at night with his car lights. I don't know his boss, but Brett Anderson must be of the same ilk. Why else would he let Scott be a policeman? Wheres the Mayor and board, is this how they want their town represented? The best advice is don't spend your money in the Dells until Officer Albrecht is gone.

Time for a reduction in force, get rid of Albrecht!

The sickening indicent was what they did to the two National Guard soldiers, that was the worst. I been told that a couple of Wisconsin Dells cops hide in the city parking lot and watch the people come out of the showboat lounge and if they get into a car with out of state license plates, they stop them. Usually Officer Albrecht is involved. They do not stop the locals. Also been told that if they find beer in the car, they will take the beer and keep it for themselves. To the reporter, keep up the good work and speak to some of the people in the Wisconsin Dells City Court with tickets and those people with warrants out for them

Hopefully the reporter can do something about this crooked officer or officers!!! Sounds like the Dells cops are having a little bit too much fun entertaining themselves. Not enough to do officers? Maybe you could be out checking on some of the towns' elderly or out giving legitimate tickets. And if there are not enough legitimate things to do then I guess the Dells does'nt really need all of you!! Time to take out the TRASH!!! Get rid of Albrect! And make sure he does'nt just go somewhere else, he does NOT belong in law enforcement AT ALL!!!

How much cash is he getting off the street? What does he really turn in to the city? He is corrupt.

Here's an incident which took place on June 1 with Officers Wayne W. Thomas and Collin H. Jacobson violating the rights of Sgt. Anthony R. Anderson, of West Bend, and Specialist Robert C. Schiman, of Kaukauna, who both are national guardsmen serving two tours in Iraq.

Your Wisconsin Dells Mayor Eric Helland supports these fools. For his part in the violation, Scott Albrecht was cited by the department for failing to follow procedures.

It is officers such as these that are giving the Wisconsin Dells police force a bad name. With a mayor supporting this type of behavior, time to vote Helland out of office and get someone in there that will clean up the department!

You so called cops in the Dells should be ashamed. The people in the Dells deserve better!

I wonder why someone doesn't do something about this. I grew up in that town, and it was not like that back then.
