Ya think?
can you find the loser in this group?
CEOs of large U.S. companies last year made as much money from just one day on the job as average workers made over the entire year(life time). These top executives averaged $10.8 million in total compensation, over 364 times the pay of the average American worker, a calculation based on data from an Associated Press survey of 386 Fortune 500 companies.
Paying CEO 100s millions, actors 100s millions, singers 100s millions, sports players 100s millions, corrupt politicans.. Going into the 2008 season, 124 baseball players hold contracts with an annual salary of $8 million or more.
Countrywide Financial Corp.'s chief executive and president will receive a combined $19 million in stock USA SOLDIERS PAID PENNIES!!!!!!!!
PITTSBURGH - Talk about a comeback. Ben Roethlisberger signed an eight-year extension Monday with the Pittsburgh Steelers that is worth $102 million
Gisele Bundchen tops Forbes.com 's list of the world's richest models, earning $33 million in the last 12 months
Lee signed a six-year,$100 million deal, the largest contract in Astros history. Last season was Lee's fifth straight with at least 30 home runs and 99 RBIs. Matthews, whose 7-year-old son lives in nearby Santa Monica, reached a preliminary agreement Wednesday on a $50 million, five-year contract with the Angels. Yankees win rights to Japan's Igawa By RONALD BLUM, AP Baseball Writer. The New York Yankees won the bidding for Japanese pitcher Kei Igawa when the Hanshin Tigers accepted their offer of about $25 million Tuesday.
BOSTON (AP)—Randy Moss is staying with the New England Patriots. The defending AFC champions re-signed the record-breaking receiver on Monday to a three-year deal worth $27 million, his agent said. The signing was confirmed by the team shortly after Moss posted a message to fans on his Web site.
Pettitte returns to Yankees in $16M deal
When Gil Meche was introduced Wednesday as the newest member of the Kansas City Royals, he slipped into a white jersey with blue numbers that are sure to remind him each day of the lofty expectations put on him.
He's wearing No. 55 — as in the $55 million, five-year deal he signed last week.
The Red Sox reached a preliminary agreement with the 26-year-old right-hander on a six-year contract that would guarantee him a minimum of $52 million -- enough to get him to fly cross country well before Thursday night's deadline to seal the deal.
All-Star center fielder Vernon Wells and the Toronto Blue Jays are close to agreement on a $126 million, seven-year contract extension that would be the sixth-largest deal in baseball history.
NEW YORK - Morgan Stanley Inc., the second-largest U.S. investment house, gave chief executive John Mack $40 million in stock and options for 2006, reflecting the largest bonus awarded to a Wall Street CEO.
Pfizer Inc.'s former chief executive, Henry A. McKinnell, who was forced into an early retirement in part because of investor anger about his rich retirement benefits, will get every penny of it and more, a new regulatory filing shows.
McKinnell's package totals more than $180 million. The total value could grow to almost $200 million if McKinnell gets a $18.3 million stock award, but that is contingent on the future performance of the stock of the world's largest drugmaker.
Woods earned $100 million in the 12-month period ending June 2007. That is the most an athlete has ever made in one year. Woods banked $13 million in prize money and $87 million from endorsements and appearance fees. His take was more than twice the amount earned by the second highest-paid athlete, pugilist Oscar De La Hoya. The "Golden Boy" pocketed $43 million from his May fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Time to up the dosage, dude. This has nothing to do with kids throwing rocks and being irresponsible.

Being poor does not exempt one from being a decent respectful human being.

First off I want to apologize to the trio. I am an adult and I should know better than to believe everything I read. I am an old school fuddy duddy and the myspace is not something I think is cool but hey who cares what I think. I've been coming back to this article and comments and Standardized Test what the heck kind of NAME is that??? I could go on but I really don't want to provoke another stupid response from you. I like the "whine" cooler comment kind of a Freudian slip.
The "standardized test" is considered to be by some (the left-wing) a racist method of testing students.

Poster "Cait" claims to be under 21 years of age.
Access to unlimited alcohol (including wine coolers) would be illegal so I know not to "say" (write) that; it could have been a problem if she accepted my offer (It's been brought to my attention that the police are reading our comments. Just remember this case is still active and this board is a wealth of information, MySpace postings and comments from the friends and family of the vandals: all of which is valid in court). But I guess it's "cool to whine."

No, I'm somewhat taller than 5'2", even in my stocking feet. No, don't even say it...I don't wear heels!
Yes, a Corvette. Yes, I do sometimes "peel out."

Has your opinion about me changed????

What does it matter which guy, it's clearly not the same one, nor any of your damn business. Myspace pages are irrelevant in the case, because the courts do not know what is true or not, and have absolutely nothing at all to do with the case.

I guess you won't be driving in my Corvette with me or having access to unlimited whine coolers or going on a shopping spree on me at Roosevelt Field Mall or clubbing in the Hamptons or all the other fun things that HE cannot provide you.
Think about it.
Your completely and 100% right, I wouldn't get in 'your' corvette, assuming you actually have one. Wine coolers? Thanks but no thanks, I'm under 21, i'm sure that this looks good on your part, trying to give someone under the legal drinking age alcohol, you know that's punishable by law. How do you know what he can and cannot provide me, I can assure you he can provide me just fine, why don't you try and pick someone else up that's somewhere near your age and not on a news forum.

Do you even read what you've been writing. Anything you've said on here is something negative towards one of the guys, they've done nothing to you, and i happen to take it personally when you bad mouth my boyfriend or friends. You don't know them, or me. Why do you have to try and look all high and mighty, and then try and pick me up on this forum? You've really got no respect.

typical long island kids being jackasses LOL
Underage drinking and illegal drug use seems to be a popular pass time around here and parents are too busy not giving a shit to..well..give a shit.

Not to mention, high realistic prices keep anything but houses and chain retailers from going in (i.e; nothing for kids/young adults to do). NIMBY groups screw everything else up like drag tracks or anything else that would give these kids something fun to do.

Lets face it, not every kid is going to play sports after school. Growing up I used to hang out in the 40 acre woods across from my house playing paintball and riding ATV's. Really never bothered anyone and we didn't do stupid stuff (although SCPD still gave us a hard time--go figure) and then when I was a little older, i'd go racing at West Hampton. It gave me something to do, gave me hobbies to work for and gave me a reason not to get in trouble.

What do kids have now? Not a whole hell of a lot.

--I should add, not that i'm making excuses for dumbasses but any way to get kids from cutting out this dumb stuff is worth having...obviously parents aren't doing a good job. How can you blame them? They're both busy working two jobs since the kid is 5 years old so they can pay off the new 50,000 dollar SUV.
