This is a beautiful part of our country, but it is underdeveloped and it seems the plans for beautification is never carried out. The overlook on Taylor's Ridge is awesome. You can see Lookout Mountain and a good portion of our county. Was this developed for a reason and if so, why was the "pull off" not paved? It seems to be a good spot for the storing of construction equipment.

Hey dumbass they are installing a water system and there is not much parking on the narrow mountain pass over Taylor's Ridge who cares if they use it for a while. They've already had one man killed, you want them to just park on the side of the road? You might not want to pull your "sweet ride" onto the gravel but the gravel works just fine for me when I stop there to look. I hope I see you there next time I go, your ass is going over the rail.

Dear Mr. Jackass, I suppose from the way your input is so well enunciated in every Topix that you are one highly educated individual. I am very well aware of the water project going on and the death of the worker. His death was very tragic and has left all of us with a deep feeling of remorse. Maybe in your eagerness to state your "respond" to my question that your brain engaged in gear before your brain knew what was being asked. There will be a time in the near future that the construction will be finished and the overlook can be smoothed out and we can all enjoy the awesome view. Will that take place Mr. Jackass or will the land just grow back in vegetation and then we can all say, Do you remember when that was the beginning of a good view.

I will have to chime in and compliment Jackass on his user name. Knows himself/herself very, very well. Jack asked a reasonable question. Why do you act the a$$?

Your threat isn't very smart either. No one can mistake that for anything other than a little man making a threat for which he is certainly too small to carry out. It would serve you right to have a knock on the door with a local deputy on the other side with a pair of handcuffs.

an internet deputy is one who is paid by the internet sheriffs' dept. to enforce internet law. but we all know that our internet deputy is crooked and under the influence of the cartel. we all also know who is behind the cartel. we all also know that soon, very soon, the flaming hammer of justice will come crashing down on all of our little, smelly enemys, equity and happyness will prevail, and we'll all live happly everafter. perhaps as soon as halloween. no, wait. thanksgiving. yeah, that's it. thanksgiving. fer sure..........maybe....

We are from Chattooga, therefore we start off four steps behind most African villages.

I heard that Barbara Reece was responsible for getting this started. And, I agree with you, we do live in a beautiful place. I'm thinking that maybe it's another project that gets started and falls by the wayside. Hope not. If we could get some new leadership in our city, we might see some progress made.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Scorpio

Be careful how you handle a certain someone today because their mood is little short of incendiary. They'll jump down your throat if you dare to disagree with them, and then accuse you of being a wimp if you decide that it would be better to agree with everything they say. You can't win! If they really get on your wick, you'll have to give them a piece of your mind, even if it is supposed to be the season of goodwill to all men. Huh!
