How many other children has this Pedophile assaulted? I bet he has been doing this for the past two decades or more.

What else do these other teachers know? Why haven't they turned him in? They are obligated by law to do so.
How many other students has he "Fondled" or had sex with?
How many will have the courage to speak up now that he has been caught?

Accused George County teacher released on bail Tuesday, September 15, 2009 By HARLAN KIRGAN
Staff Reporter
LUCEDALE George County High School teacher Andrew B. Brantley Jr., 44, was released on $25,000 bail Monday after being arrested Friday in connection with the sexual battery of a 16-year-old female.
Judge M.L. Goff set Brantley's bail on charges of sexual battery and exploitation of children Monday morning at the George County Justice Court.
Brantley, who lives in Lucedale, has "taught several years" at the high school, said Barbara Massey, George County's superintendent of education.
Massey said she was limited in what she could say about the case and would not reveal if the victim is a student.
Brantley is on administrative leave, according to Massey.
"I'm basically responding to everybody kind of like the sheriff did the other day," said Massey. "That is, it is an ongoing investigation, so I can't really comment too much."
Massey said Brantley, a mathematics teacher, had been at the high school for at least two years.
Brantley was arrested after a joint investigation by the George County Sheriff's Department and George County school resources officers, according to a news release from Sheriff Garry Welford.
"Our school resource officers cooperated with the sheriff's department in the investigation, and we are going to continue to offer support as the investigation continues," Massey said. "That's one comment I can make."
Welford was not available for comment Monday.
After posting bail Monday, Brantley was released from the George County Regional Correctional Facility, where he had been held since Friday.
A Justice Court clerk said Brantley's case would be bound over to circuit court.
********** Why is this bond so low? Some one should look into this, find the connection between the judge and the family.

Where is the justice for this little girl? Where is her rights? Shouldn't this case be moved else where, where there will be no bias opinion? The major his father, I mean come on man, give me a freakin break!!!! And his attorney, well I don't feel it is right that he should be able to represent this jerk since he sits on the school board. What ever happened to justice. I bet you a million dollars that if it was either on of their daughters (if they have daughters) they would do everything in their power to see the pervs, remain in jail!!! And serving in community, oh please give me a break!!! why so he can locate his next victim!!!! No, this is why pervs get away with murder, because no one has the balls to stand up for those that can't stand up for them selves. I will guarantee you this, if it was my daughter, hell would freeze over before I settled for $25,000 bail, and still remain within close vacanity of the school, as well as any church activities, such as missions trips, or any other activity where children are involved. And not to mention but still remain on the darn school payroll, we as tax payers, are paying this perverts salery, it isn't right... Lord move on behalf of this little girls rights....

Actually, That sounds about on average for a case like this--especially if he lives here and has ties to the community. He's not likely to jump bail.
If you pay attention you'll find that bonds in George County are much lower than in surrounding areas as a general rule. There have been repeat offenders charged with aggravated assault on law enforcement that had $30,000 to $50,000 bonds.
I don't know why that is, but it sure sucks sometimes.

Did you see today's paper? GC TIMES talks a big game with their editorials and stories concerning the Board or other issues they feel like championing.
How many other big stories did they publish the Booking Photo, compared the crime to others, After years of reading the paper, I exptected the GC Times to question the bond amount, compare it to similiar crimes in the past and to question the Judges alliance, But...... What's the difference here?

I believe that the case needs to be relocated to a different location due to the pull he has in that county. the dude lives really close to the high school, shouldn't he be made to move away from that location, for the safety of the teenagers that attend there. He is just sick, and don't understand what makes anyone do crap like this.
