Hello,

I am interested in hearing from anyone who might have any information regarding the Diamond Springs Hotel in upper Abbeville County, Lowndesville, or who could refer me to a person or some information, and especially a photo. My great-great-grandfather, John W. Brown, was hired by the Diamond Springs Company to build the hotel around 1840. It burned down in 1931 and there are only 2 known photos and one of those are not clear.
I have information concerning the way the Hotel looks and a drawing of it from the Carlisles in Lowndesville, but would appreciate hearing from anyone who has any additional information and/or a photo.
