The arrest log is a space filler. When they lay out the pages for the day's paper, after they put in the ads (revenue producing space) the news stories the editors select from their reporters and the wire services, the columns they decide to run and the Irish sports page, sometimes there is white space left to fill. Entries from the arest logs the police send in go into that space until there is no more white space.

I was with you on the idea of more positive reporting but then you lost me when you made a blanket statement about everyone that gets arrested. There are plenty of good an inteligent people who exercise bad judgement and end up in cuffs. "they will never amount to nothing"? you must have been one of those sub par student losers too then right?

Puuuuuuuuuulease! Are you kidding me! People who get arrested and convicted live a life way below my own. They have one cell brains and yes, usually amount to nothing the rest of their life. They give nothing back, except community service here and there, but that's it, because they have to by law! As for you putting me in the "sub par student" category, no way. I can't stand these SPEDS and they can't stand me. I, and my family deserve better and they get better. You are supporting these losers is because you resemble them...

I know countless very successfull people who got wild a few nights in their youth and wore cuffs for a night. Did you never drink before 21 Chunky? UMM..HUMBLE....it's up to the POLICE STATIONS to send in the arrest logs, if they don't send them or leave arrests off the report then it's up to the department.

*thank you for this! This person has nothing better to do than sit on a dumb website full of lies and drama and bash on people to feel better about themselves. Maybe someone needs to get off their computer and start building up some confidence. This is why its so hard for an addict to quit cause people like this bring them down!
