macs two

Does anyone remember the cabins behind macs two? What were they used for? I think the winter hill gang was involved but not sure. anyone?

But I wouldn't mind going to macs two right now.

I had heard friends Winter hill gang did hang around that area. In fact, there was a story about a safe being dumped in the Concord River by those guys. I once saw a fist fight in broad daylight across the street from Macs Two, and there was money flying all over the place. Figured somebody hadn't paid their debt.

I heard they uaed the cabins for a prositution ring. The strippers would take men back to the cabins and nobody would be the wiser?

I have heard that the owner was associated with the winter hill gang too. I am glad that times have changed. I watched a beating just outside macs when I was 6 years old and it will never leave my mind. The 70's were crazy.

Before it was Mac's Too...didn't the building that was there get burned down? I can remember my father telling a story of the owner pulling an insurance scam...and he did the torching himself and didn't make it out of the building....I could be wrong about the location....

How can we shut this place down?

Before it was Mac's it was called Enricos...not sure how the "fire" took place, but it didnt burn to the ground.. think I was in my late teens at the time....but when it reopened it was a nightclub MACS not a strip joint, think the owners had the Full Moon in Tyngsboro at the same time and figured they were doin so good there why not do it in Billerica too...thus Mac II

Sorry, but you heard wrong..They would of got sold out and in jail by now..They wanted ppl to think they were connected..The beating you saw could of happened outside any bar in brica or lowell back them...Hey Kev, We're wondering off the reservation ha!

When I was a kid in high school, late 50's very early 60's,I worked at Mac's rest. It was right next door,to the south, of what is now Mac's 2. At that time Mac's 2 was pretty much a hot dog & root beer stand. Back then the cabins out back were used for storage...Mostly.

Joe help me out on this one...I remember the name Mac's restaurant just can't pic its location...I know the building that is Mac's II today was Enrico's then was a kinda a dive pizza bar...looked like it was goin to fall over any day back then...so was that the same building?...or was there another building between that and the corner of treble cove road? I lived in Billerica for 36 years just cant picture the other building.

Kevster, As best as I can remember, It was almost 50 years ago, I believe there may have been a small house on the corner of Treble Cove Rd. Next to that house was Mac's then next to Mac's was what is now Mac's 2.

I heard that is where Jackie Mcdermott and Billy Barnonsky use to hang out before the hong kong. Jackie had girls in their and using the cabins behind.

Macs has some hot chicks working right now. I was in a few months ago and there was this lil brunnette who is just gorgeous. great body...beatiful girl. Yummy!

Is this the same McGarry who's son was killed coz they couldn't get to daddy back in late 70's early 80's???

YES THAY FOUND HIS SON BRIAN dead at the old rest area on rt 3 and concord rd aug of 1978 some one put his head under tractor trailer truck some say that he was killed some were else then put under the truck only in billerica
