This is seriously one of the greatest wastes of space ever to appear in a newspaper. I cannot believe that a) it passed by an editor to appear in print and b) that I am wasting my time reading AND commenting on it. Is this the best topic that Mr. Shaughnessey could come up with? Get a new job! We all know that there are fools out there that don't understand situational norms, but they are not going to suddenly gain insight from this piece. The descriptions given in the piece aren't even good examples of bad behavior. A man singing quietly at a concert? Two under informed women in a private conversation? This is truly poor journalism and commentary. Shame on all involved in this making it to my computer!
