Boy, you are real haters. I never met a more knowledgable guy about town development laws. His weakness was that he worked under Bernie. Andy has encyclopedic knowledge and high ethical standards--as far as I have experienced him. You can resent your personal rebuffs, but thst's no reason to slander Andy Sheehan.

Our neighborhood had brief dealings with Andy when he was in Chelmsford. I found him to be pleasant, prepared, and fair to deal with. It was after he left, that the expectations set during that time were disappointingly ignored.

I don't like to blog but info on this guy has come back ALL BAD from people I know in the Chelmsford business community as well as some folks in Lowell who claim he was very aggressive and rude.
We don't need his kind here in Westford and why he quit so fast,giving a 2 days notice, is very unprofessional.
If he was in fact fired that would not surprise me in the least.

Hah. Perhaps, but likely only until inspectional servicse gets reogranized, with him at the helm and that slimeball hilaire working gets the commissioner title he has always wanted, working under him.
The council cant prevent the manager from reorganizing inspectional services, and likely won't cut the data analyst in the new budget, so guess what? That the manager two places to hide dandy andy!

Andy is a great guy that gives 100% to where ever he works. He is honest and he tells people the truth. He does not cave to political pressure and would rather walk. The silence on Left in Lowell on this topic is deafening. They'd have to consider the fact that they may have been wrong on this one.

This guy is no good. He treated employees with complete disdain. He had no use for them what so ever. He's an elitist. His "gallows humor" as he called it while he was handing out pink slips was the epitomy of cruelty.

It's too bad the council had to take the heat and do the dirty work by getting rid of him. The Manager didn't want his chief henchman let go. He used his "skills" as a hatchetman to its fullest. And it gave him cover.

No-one leaves a job after 6 months for "personal reasons" in this job market. And now Westford is filling the job so it's not a budget cut. Andy was a problem in Chelmsford, a problem in Lowell, and a problem in Westford. Glad he's gone.

this guy is in townsend now, and he is horrible..treats people terribly and its bankrupting the town, could use some advice, as i see by the comments many of you understand the type of manager he is, would almost classify him as a psychopath
