I know many of them and they do not take advantage of their authority, rather these days they are much more guarded. If thugs didn't take swings at them, hit them with brass knuckles, spray them with mace, fend them off with knifes, maybe all of them would not have to be aggressive during traffic stops or frisking potential gang members. All of the ones I know, and there are many, would never assault or commit any form of corruption as you suggest they ALL do (or that they are all dirty). As dirty as you say they are, my guess is you would call them in a heartbeat if someone was kicking down your door. It's a pretty thankless job they have by the way, and quite stressful I would imagine...they do not deal with the most pleasant citizens. Clearly you think it's ok for your brother or whoever to carry guns illegally...wake up, this isn't a third world country and it never will be...abide by the laws and the cops won't be knocking on your door or running your license plate. Simple as that!

You criminals should all be put in a large park with bullet proof walls around it and have at it with each other. last one standing wins...a trip back to your foreign country. That should save us some money on jet fuel.
