Have you ever taken a look at Obamas voting record? This below is cut and paste blah, but if you look he never votes on anything! NV means not voting. n means no, y means yes. this is a very indecisive person that very well could be president, he didnt even vote for most of the natl defense budgets, thats really scary. You basically said in your first post that you didn't like him because of the gay enlistment thing. That's what the post was about.

My mother is gay. My uncle is gay and they are good voting, tax-paying people and I would encourage them to serve their country however they saw fit. gay people have always been in the military ...they aren't coming out of the woodwork now you silly, silly man. My suggestion to someone considering entering the military who does NOT wish to encounter gay people is; pick a service that DOESN'T wear white bell-bottoms and accessorize with scarfs and hats...the odds are pretty high that you will encounter less gays because when you are at War you certianly don't want to have to worry that someone is watching your butt.

Most military personal come from the south of this country. Most come from born again religious families. If Obama allows people to be openly gay in the military. They will not allow their children to go into the military. That is not good for you or me. If you look at most of the national guard units they come from the poor rural areas of this country.

Wondering wrote: <quoted text> They should come out and they should be allowed to serve. I think they should have separate quarters though. Look, men are separated from women because they are attracted to each other. Women and men who are attracted to each other in the same sex should also be separated. It's really no different. Well, maybe to avoid problems, a gay man should be paired with a gay woman. This could get expensive. I think that the don't ask don't tell method worked well for years. These days, gays are more assertive, they are so proud of their sexual preference that this method is no longer workable. Put them in separate quarters and that would solve the problem. So you are saying that you believe segregation would work?
