What the waiter writes is no surprise, we did enjoy many good meals at the Speare House especially the filet mignon. I also enjoyed the complimentary bean dip and crackers served with the cocktails before dinner.
We also enjoyed The Windsor a lot, more casual and more friendly in those days.

Yes, we used to go to the Waterwheel all the time, mostly on Friday nights, the food was good there and it was a cozy place, good location on Lakeview Ave too. Yes, I have a 12:43 tee time witha foursome today, it's going to be sunny no clouds or wind and 68 degrees just perfet for golf. What business were you in, I thought you just closed a store of some kind? You have known Scotty at the Cameo Diner, great guy. Have a nice day and stay warm.

I got married there a couple years before they knocked it down. From the rubble, I pulled out a piece of the dance floor, and put it on a picture frame with wedding pictures.

Mays Landing NJ I believe Scotty's health was not to good and his son is now running it. Jan is a sweetheart and always made everyone feel at home. I used to go on Fridays sometimes for the seafood lunch, it was always fresh and very good.
