Nice to see The Hall hasn't changed. I watched some kid get thrown down a flight of stairs over the weekend, they took him out on a stretcher. This is exactly what Lowell needs another scumbag bar with bouncers who think they are above the law. We will see whats happens about this, but this is Lowell so don't expect anything!

Apparently you did not see it. I in fact did. If you were there to see it AND see him get taken out on a stretcher, the you must have been there an awfully long time. AND you also saw him run back up the stairs and originally told the police his fingers were jammed. It wasn't until one of the people he was with, that just happens to own a local bar, told him to claim a back injury. He was overheard saying "I don't want these as**oles taking anymore of my fu**ing business".
Next time check your facts and the police report.

You must be in the payroll....I have 20/20 vision Nick so I know what I saw, I guess the guy who really called Kevin's sister a hog got away and she pointed in the direction of where she heard the voice and that guy get's thrown down the stairs. That's called assault Nick. So throwing people down the stairs is justifiable to you because you know the owner?

Nick you are much more accurate than the guy who claims to be a "Lowell Native" but obviously hates Lowell. Someone did shove the man who fell down himself. He admitted he wasn't sure if he fell or was pushed and also could not pick out the guy who escorted him out. I did not witness any assault. I think "Lowell Native" is going off of rumors and not facts. Nick seems to be more accurate. So "Lowell Native" if you want to keep "Lowell Bashing" then move!! The city doesn't need scum like you!!

My night at the club was nothing short of spectacular!!!! I think the city should be happy that this establishment brought that many people out in the city!! This is exactly what Lowell needs, a night life again!! Good luck to the owner!! Lowell Native, if you didn't enjoy your night at Brian's Ivy Hall then you must be one miserable person!! That was a CRAZY GOOD time, especially for a "soft" opening!! Congrats BIH!!

Nope, don't know the owner, just happened to hear people talking about it on the street when I left the Old Court and decided to check it out. Wish I did know the owner, we could have saved the cover charge. Guess this weekend I'll have to get there early to get my moneys worth.

Once again an ignorant person that has no idea!!! If you guys thought it was so awful of a place then why are you there both days to witness this???

The answer is, you are NOT!! You are going off of rumors from other jealous people that don't want this business to succeed!!

I was a witness that talked to the Lowell Police and their reply was "how impressed they are with the security staff at the Ivy Hall" . Explain that???

Brian's Ivy Hall has brought thousands of people into the city of Lowell that had a huge decline in the night life!! Every business owner downtown should be happy they are here!!!

Jealousy will get you no where!!

Also, its funny how everyone has all these RUMORS, but there is no physical evidence to back it up!!!

If it is such a terrible place then why have they hit capacity every night they have been open so far???? Must be the worst place to be??? You haters need to find something better to do!!

Anyone bothering to argue this back and forth is wasting their time. This entire blog was cooked up by the owner and one poor soul desperately trying to attain title of head bartender . What they both don't realize is that the girl was fed bs story that just happened to be repeated verbatim here . The police report in fact reflects the owner was identified as the person throwing the patron down the stairs as well as patron was not intoxicated. Piss poor attempt at saving some bad public relations on their part. Attacking grammar and punctuation is highly immature and just shows what kind of people are running that place. Don't worry lowell it will go the same road it always does. A year of they're lucky and don't get sued 100 times.

I've been there a few times and its been great . Good atmosphere and they've got the place looking great. If an owner did touch a customer that's huge no no ... even bouncers have a limit as to what they can do as far as physical stuff. But again had great time hopefully it continues .

Wow what a topic I cant say about someone getting thrown down the stairs but I can say something about there security I think are professional the only problem they had was this guy who ran around in a black shirt and tie thinking he was the man short chubby dude. Most of the guys are respectful
I also see now that a Black guy seems to of taken over. Nice dude and seems more professional in how he deals with people talking issues out is better, i saw at one point a guy giving some girls a hard time bye trying to grind up on them and he went over and respectfully talked to the guy, another time I saw him talk to some people with nuthin but respect so all i can say is these guys are not bouncers they are floor men, and they give respect so give some credit people

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Scorpio

You're in the mood to spend money on a favourite hobby or pastime today, so take care if you're supposed to making every penny count at the moment. The temptation to treat yourself to something that you'll undoubtedly enjoy will be too strong to resist, and the trouble is that you might not restrict yourself to just one item either. It looks like being an extravagant day!
