He was charged with leaving the scene of the accident and received a suspended sentence of 2 months in jail. He swam across the bay totally soused and crashed at a motel for the night.
Is he soon to get his just reward?

Everyone dies, even you. He's well past expected life and still doing things his way. I wish the same for both you and me. I'm no Kennedy fan but really, get a life.

You must read the book "Senatorial Debate". It's an older book, but that will have you seeing red! The cover ups, and the fact until today he never gave Mr. & Mrs. Kopechne an apology of sympathy. I don't know, are they still alive?

Why was Ted Kennedy never brought up on murder charges? I think you would need to ask the Edgartown grand jury that returned a no bill, and thus failed to indict him.

The book you need to read is called "Senator" it was written by a Kennedy aid. You will need to purchase the book outside of Mass., since it is not sold in this State.
Best case he left her to die in four feet of water. If the Grand Jury was anywere but Mass they would have come back with an indictment.

You are probably referring to "The Senator:My Ten Years with Ted Kennedy". Funny, I just saw it on the bargain shelfs at the local BN for $2 over the weekend. So much for the "ban".

This looks like the one:
http://www.amazon.com/Senator-Ten-Years-Ted-K...

You can get it for $1 at this book store.
http://www.biblio.com/books/29716660.html

It's in stock at most MASSACHUSETTS Barnes & Noble stores.

It is called Senator and it was written 20 years ago. It is actually quite fasinating. The guy was a Big time fan of his older brothers and was his driver and personal assistant.
My favorite parts were about his coke use and how he was always trying to pick up his nephews girlfriends.

I'll stop "hating" when Mary Jo is no longer dead, or when he pays for his crime.

I read a few reviews on that book. This many years later it looks like gossip, nothing more.

That is your inner personal hate outwardly disguised towards other people, you need to find your own inner peace and seek resolution to your own problem.

Ted Kennedy is a murderer and a cheater. He killed a young girl, was suspended from Harvard for cheating, he had a friend take an exam from him. How anybody could vote for him is beyond me, the man has no scruples.

(And yes, it is awful and TK should have gone to prison, but **** is all of this irrelevant complaining gonna do about it?)
What's even more amazing is that people are so naive to think that the power elite in this country live by the same laws as the rest of us. Not true.
If it were, Madoff would be getting a$$ raped in prison right now instead of hanging out in his home.
Same thing for Scooter Libby.
Funny how people only complain about Kennedy getting away with something, isnt it? Where is the outrage elsewhere?
If he wasn't connected, what would they have charged him with? Vehicular homicide? Whats the penalty for that, a year? He was so far away from a phone that they wouldn't have been able to give him a breathalyzer test until the next day anyway.

Daily Horoscope for February 12

Virgo

Before the day's even fully underway, you could be drawn to an item in a shop which proves irresistible. Of course, there could be other wonderful items in other shops.... but can you afford to grin and keep shopping? If you don't exercise some control, tomorrow you're going to wonder what on earth happened. You don't need a lawnmower if you live in an apartment, or four hundred disposable nappies if you don't have a baby! Get the point?
