Everyone he is alive and well. He is in the ending of the movie fighter, and he has a scene with Micky and Dicky.

Boo Boo now lives in NH and is still clean off the drugs. I met him about 11 yrs ago at a NA meeting. He is a wonderful and helpful man.

Hey- Watch the movie "the fighter", in the end credits it shows real life Micky Ward and Dick Ecklund sitting in a bar, with Boo Boo there, they are making fun of him and calling him a cabbage head, this was filmed in 2009 so at that time was as alive still.

High on Crack Street: Lost Lives in Lowell was film over a period of 18 months and originally aired on HBO in 1995.

I watched High On Crack Street for the first time about three weeks ago. I have watched it three times since then and I really would like to see how Boo Boo is doing in September of 2011. Can somebody PLEASE link me his Facebook profile (as someone as suggested that he is registered on Facebook) or perhaps even a recent photo of him?! I don't know why, but I must get an update on him!

watched the documentary last night and the characters reminded me of those featured in 'my name is earl'.it wasn't a comedy tho(apart from the clinic receptionists perm! what was she thinking) and like many other contributors to this discussion board, I felt compelled to search out the answers to the many unanswered questions the film left open. the brawl and the scared chap behind the locked door brought a smile amidst the misery tho

I was just wondering if there is any other information about Brenda. I am not trying to be hurtful or disrespectful to her family and loved ones, but I would like to possibly visit her grave (if it is in Massachusetts), or donate to an organization in her name if there is one. What was Brenda's last name? The whole story is a tragic one, and not a surprise, but her story is really sad. She was a very intelligent woman who just became entwined with the wrong side of life. I have known way too many like her; some lived, some did not. I have lived in Lowell my entire life, and that is the way it is here, as well as plenty of other places all over the country and world. Any information would be appreciated. I hope Dicky and Boo Boo continue to stay straight.

I would also like to know more about Brenda. She was the most interesting character in my opinion.. Someone mentioned she was found dead in Cambridge, and the video states that it was on october 1995.. Its been a long time, but more info on her would be great.

Wow, this was a great documentary. I watched is for the first time today and will most likely watch it again.

I, too, wondered what happened to Brenda and her baby. I watched it until the credits, but didn't see where it said she passed away. If this was shot in '92, her baby must be around 19/20 years old now. I really wish they did a follow up.

I love HBO documentaries. Another great one was LaLee's Kin: The Legacy of Cotton. Wish there was a follow up on that one also.

I lived on school st. Between westford and branch for 18 years. You can see my house and my old hangout spots on 80 percent of the documentary and the movie. I can remember dicky selling my stepdad stolen steaks when we were bbqing one night. He may of been a crackhead but he was always a very friendly guy at least to me when i was growing up. It thought it was so cool for christian bale to give him a shout out at the oscars that year. I think he is training fighters again. Good luck buddy,stay clean.

Every new page of this topic I went to, my IE security bar says it blocked this site from downloading files to my computer. The only time that happens is when it's trying to DL malware, spyware or how ironic, given the subject, a virus. I watched these people & Brenda was quite pathetic. Her attitude, her foul mouth, not one single ounce of class, couthe, tricking herself out for crack & did it w a smile. She spoke of terminating the pregnancy by burning her 22 wk unborn baby w saline solution & spoke about it as if she were speaking about the weather. She couldnt bring herself to terminate the pregnancy & yet, smoked crack & shot up heroin & speedballs while pregnant. She was the apitomy of a toothless, crack smokin, leg spreadin, disease ridden, lot-lizard & PURE TRASH! She carried herself as an easy disease ridden 6-pack Sally & died of an drug overdose. How shocking! I think I might have a heart attack over that surprise.
