Can a doctor who is seeing you for a back injury share private mental health information with a chirpactor? As a victim of domestic voilence I have on two occasions tried to commit suicide, I personally think this is none of my chirpractors business, but for some reason the information was shared bewteen the two doctors is this right?

If it is in your medical hx then yes, but, only if the doctor you are seeing requested
your medical records.

Contact hipaa online and submit a complaint. It will be investigated if there
is a question of a violation.
