If only Stephen Bailey possessed a pair of cajones that were half the size necessary to hold Jared accountable on any issue. Thus far I've seen Bailey waste some good money just to see his name on signs as he rides around town. Has he done anything else to campaign?
At least he's won this vote. I hope his mother takes a screen capture and hangs the image on the fridge to commemorate the only vote he'll win this year. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Hi Bdirty Ahole, Campaigns require resources. We've had significant volunteer support. Although we have tried, it has been very challenging to raise $'s. Still, we are making this a very competitive race because of the grassroots support. Have you walked your precinct for the campaign? Have you made calls for the campaign? Have you talked to your friends and colleagues? Check out the videos page of the campaign website: www.StephenBaileyForCongress.com and you'll see that I do hold Polis accountable. |

Campaigns absolutely require resources and, equally importantly, these precious resources must be utilized to their greatest benefit. Dedicating time to respond to a belligerent detractor on a right-wing news aggregator has clearly proven ineffective in defeating Congressman Polis. I also found your use of yard signs quite self-infatuated. While you certainly needed to boost your name ID, was this truly the best method to accomplish that goal, or was it perhaps, a solution to a more personal desire?
Holding elected officials accountable--much like campaigns--requires resources. You were unable to hold Polis accountable because you had no name ID, no exposure and no message. Whatever the reason, you failed to present yourself as a viable alternative and make Polis respect you as a formidable opponent. Can you cite one direct example of a compromise Polis made because of pressure received by your campaign? None are listed on your website. A 20-point defeat is not a "very competitive race." To answer your questions, no I made no effort whatsoever to encourage any friend, colleague or stranger to support you or Polis. There were competitive races for many other offices and my time was dedicated to ensuring victory in these races. |
