at least it will save the tax payer money. Let him starve.

He is no Bobby Sands. If he is hell bent on starving himself to death because he wants out, let him do it.

Bent is looking for attention & getting it. If he wants to starve to death, so be it. This looney tune's cult leader & child molester is good for nothing other than taking up air. Bent's son honey Jeff needs to get it through the empty space between his ears that this cheap stunt of his daddy's is not getting him released from prison. If Bent lives, which he will, there is comfort in knowing no half time for good behavior for Bent.

Judge in this case of medical intervention is passing the buck to medical doctors. Keep politics out of a person's choice of continuing life or ending it in death. It is unethical to interfere with what decision this cult-leader makes. Let's allow this man to decide his own fate...

If this is what Bent really believes in, then don't make him eat. He's already in jail because of another one of his so called 'religious beliefs' - so I say let him be. It's no one's fault but his own if he dies

So you put in a feeding tube, are you going to keep his arms and legs restrained so that he can't pull the tube out? What if he makes himself vomit and aspirates and then develops pneumonia? Allow him the right to die, if that is his desire.

I resent my tax dollars being spent to feed him in the first place. Good riddens!

I think his fasting is because he IS getting tubes stuck in him... just in the wrong end.

Problem is, the parents are not unhappy with him, and consider what he did as "healing" rites, like a sacrament.

I think it is a little like when the Morman Church believed in polygamy. But the American Judiciary intervened in this belief and said, "illegal!".

So, I think about all the young girls that become addicted to meth and then sell sex. I think of those whose employers still make them have sex for work and promotion. I think of all the incest victims I have known. I read about all the young East European girls forced into prostitution in Israel, Turkey and other countries in the Middle East. We just read about a Momma's and Papa's daughter whose young life was abuse by her famous father. Then Bent, an aging Christian Leader rationalizes why he should lay naked with beautiful girls. Oral Roberts, his son, Franklin Graham, Jimmy Swaggert, Jim Bakker, on and on and on. Men like young women. That seems to be a fact. Some cannot resist temptation. Some seek it and act upon it. What Bent did is not Christian, not inspired, not good psychological counseling, not legal. I would give him three years in prison because there was no sex. He would then be on probation with a polygraph monthly to ensure he was not acting on his sexual addiction. Killing him is too harsh only because there was no sex. But I say, he is caught and sex starved now. Lets pursue exposure, apprehension, prosecution and punishment of those still ruining young lives with their sexual addiction.

Just one question to you, how do you or anyone know for sure there was no sex?

I would bet there was but they lied to protect him, why not give him that polygraph test now and see if there was.

That same test has to be given to all those that live or lived in his compound.

By all I mean boys and girls, mom's and dad's.

I never believed he just slept with them naked, I always believed if not complete sexual intercourse he at least still molested them and had them do things to him.

I say let him die, that is what he wants.
