No Sympathy, maybe when they are released from prison,
they will remember sitting in the urine, and think twice
before commiting another crime.

Informed it is people like you that have no idea what it is like behind bars. You know the saying goes 'absolute power corrupts absolutely' have you ever heard that? These men for what ever reason are in prison, but you are sent to prison as punishment, not to be punished. I am amazed at the lack of compassion that the greater community has for these people, because if they haven't killed someone they are going to come back among us. The question is do we want them to come back in a good frame of mind or worst than when they went in.

Uninformed people like yourself don't understand that the entire prison system is a drag on society. These problems should be eliminated through chain gangs, the death penalty, and an obsolute denial of all rights.

We as a society take better care of the prison population than we do our old people who have contributed to this society. Don't get in prison, Don't Committ the crime, If you can't do the time. It took an insane prisoner to eliminate Jeffrey Damhmer. Something that our society should have done in a matter of hours.

Supporting prisoners eliminates funding to support education and kids. No sympathy here. The Punks in Santa Fe can just be glad that I am not in charge. I would absolutely be in charge.

Humans are humans and when people in charge start treating humans as inhumane we are no different than those in charge in Germany, Russia, and the dark ages. Sometimes people make mistakes and sometimes people make lots. That doesn't matter people are human and it is our responsibility to treat people like humans no matter what they have done, because that is what separates us from those of era’s past.

I was at that facility from JAN of 2008 to August of 2009. The allegations are true. The test of a society's civility is how they treat prisoners. Keep in mind this is a level 2 facility. Most are there for drug charges or DWI. Thanks informed for your comments. You are right!

Does the public want a non-violent man arrested for distribution of marijauna to undergo abuse and himiliation at the hands of the corrections department. This man will not come out "corrected" or rehabilitated: he will come out full of rage.

Anyone woh is not a saint has done the same or worse yet was not caught or convicted.

The true criminals are the banking executives and the like!

Don't get caught? Are you kidding me? You turn around nowadays and your under arrest. Face it our society is becoming a police state. We will soon not be able to leave our own homes without permission!!! Trust me, the days are coming when you will be arrested and put in prison for nothing more than having an argument with your wife, or child.

It amazes me when I read the comments people make and I try to understand their mentality of where they come from. Some people just don't make any sense. In AMERICA a person is sent to prison to serve "Time"... not torture. When a guard lowers him/herself to such a degrading level through their actions. What is it they are really trying to accomplish. Self satisfaction from anothers humility. My son is in prison for a misdeamor. His jaw was broken while he was there. I do not ask for him to get out early. I ask for him to be treated as a human. With the broken jaw he sat in prison for almost 5 days before anything was done or even to take him somewhere for a medical evaluation. A RAW bone was handing out...... He became massively infected. Don't complain about how much things cost. ITs the stupidity of individuals that creat these unnecessary expenses. Thousands of extra medical bills the state has to cover because NO ONE could figure it out.... my heart goes out to these prisoners. There actions that put them their is their own. The behaviors of the prison staff should be evaluated as to each also. Prison is not supposed to be a joy ride.... But if you make it a total hell then who is the devil.

I was there from June 2008 until June 2010 the worst thing about all this is that it would happen every coupleof months so for them to repeating the torture a's common practice like they did is what needs to be resolved threatening unarmed prisoners with shotguns and beatings how is that for wakeing up on a Tuesday Ooo well I sure hope that a man with a gun doesn't force another mans genitals into my back today that was a daily event!
