I grew up with the Pee-Wee Herman show on Saturday mornings. As a child I was devastated when he was pulled. I thought he was awesome in "Blow" with Johnny Depp. Good luck Paul Reubens !!

I love Pee Wee Herman, I agree that his show was one of the funniest shows on TV. In this day and age we the public have become all about forgiving the transgressions of someone in the public eye and giving them a 2nd chance. I would bet money on Paul playing it on the straight and arrow anyday over Paris, Britney, Nicole or Lindsey....Oh! and don't forget Tom Sizemore -YIKES!

My kids (who are 1 and 2) absolutely love Pee Wee Herman. His movies are the only ones they will sit through. Pee Wee is an icon that will live forever! All these people that say they hate Pee Wee because he's a "pervert" are so stupid. Who cares what Paul does in his free time? It wasn't Pee Wee that got arrested in the theater, get over it. Kids only know about that crap because adults can't shut their mouths and just enjoy the movies.

Good news for PeeWee Reubens fans. After much practice, he's become ambidextrous and now has no favoritism toward which hand he uses in the back of movie theater. |

Paul is one of the nicest guys you'll meet. I've had the opportunity to meet him several times and at no point was I, in any way, worried about him as an individual, concerned for my safety, upset about his past, or anything else that may typically give way to humanistic 'issues' with people that have been publicly 'ruined'.
He's a person just like the rest of us -- just with the spotlight on him. Ease up. |
