Woman dies in freeway collision involving off-duty Lennox deputies

I googled Lisa Hylla's name and found her facebook account, holding a drink in her picture. A real party girl I must say. Let's hope she wasn't drunk when she hit the truck.

Damn poor girl. WTF why were those deputies out of their jurisdiction.....

Hopefully, the investigators can get to the bottom of what really occurred here.My condolences goes out to the family and friends of this woman. Rip.

Why were the Deputies out of their Jurisdiction??? They were still in Los Angeles County, therefore still in their jurisdiction!

They are Los Angeles County Deputies which makes all of LA county their jurisdiction. Since they didnt cause the accident, why does it even matter?

High speed piled up at 2.00 am. I get worried after 9.00 p.m on most nights. You have drunks, cops and gangbanger mixed in together.

If they usually state it's "unclear" what happened. You know it and I know it that the deputies are guilty of her death one way or another.

Bubbles, why is the time of the accident your concern? Not only do bars get out at 2am but some people actually work at those hours too & may be on the road. Think outside your bubble brain!

lt does matter cause if they were supposed to be some where else if they were there she'd still be alive.

Maybe she was out at that hour due to work, family emergency or just the joy of being able to be out.

wonder if they had their lights off too and flying down the road.....sounds liek the carson pd to me ... i thought there was a law somewhere about haing to have your lights on while going to emergency situations?

wy do cops get away with being on their cells while driving, not using turn signals, running redlights, speedin to get in front of ppl, using lights to get out in front of congested traffic, and should i go any further
