I would like to know is Dr. Carman using pmma or hydrogel becasue I was intrested in getting the injections becasue this precedure is illegal I would like to know a little bit more about certain side affects
Injection area damage The skin around the injection could become infected
The body filler can be absorbed
Painful allergic reaction
Immunity issues, if incorrect (black market) filler is used
Swelling
Redness
Pain
Tenderness & warmth in the butt area
Infection is a possibility with any buttocks Injection.
Reactions to anesthesia or pain medication
Recovery:
A full recovery is expected in three days
You must take it very easy the first three days and avoid sitting directly on the injection area
Medication
Resume medications you were taking before your procedure,
As pain decreases, take Tylenol .
Buttocks precautions:
Limit sitting in the injection area to an absolute minimum for the first three days. Sleep on your Stomach even for laying in bed to watch television Watch for signs of infection & swelling.
Bathroom:
Avoid Public toilets. Use sterilized toilet in your home when possible for first three days Avoid sitting down when going to the bathroom
Stairs:
Avoid any large amount of stairs for the first two day as this puts pressure on your glutinous muscles .
Sports:
No participate sports during the first three days after getting your body filler
No exercise equipment, or spas.
Sexual activity:
After buttocks Injections, most people are concerned about resuming sex. sex is not recommended.
Driving:
No driving for at least two days.
Care of your wound:
Wash your incision area with only mild soap & pat dry Do not take a bath.
No lotions on your incision until healed.
Signs of infection-what to keep an eye out for:
Each day with your shower, Check the injection area for any of these signs of infection:
Redness
Drainage
Sudden Swelling
If you see any of these signs, call your doctor ASAP.
Antibiotics:
Are generally no prescribed for body fillers & body injections in general
Swelling:
Swelling (edema) is to be expected after any procedure, this is common & should go down in a few hours to one day
