Whether it was Bush, Obama, or Ron Paul as president, I bet this same person would had commited the same crime. Jobs or not, crime will always be. No need to slap myself to lose more brain cells, this doobie Im about to light up will do the job just fine.

My neighborhood was locked down since 8:00 this morning, a pair of fools carjacked a car from Downey Ave. last week, these same fools were robbing an Auto Zone Parts store this morning when Hawthorne police recieved the stolen car information, police gave chase on the eastbound 105 Fwy., suspects exited off the 105 Fwy. at Vermont, where they struck a pedestrian, and from the looks of it ran into a wall. They then fled on foot into the neighborhood. The area was cornered off from 120th between Vermont and 117th St. and from Hoover to 117th St. with all streets in between roped off. I have lived in my neighborhood for 20 years and we have lost ONLY one young man to gang violence, not because of Bush, not because of Obama, but because a bunch of like minded citizens black and hispanic raised our children, we taught right and wrong, and we stressed education. We don't sit behind our computers and judge the rest of the world, we reach a hand out to our neighbors, we respect each others culture and race. That is the Obama way, that is the neighbor way. Say what you please about my comment, but just know our little neighborhood has grown and it didn't matter if a Republican or a Democrate was in the White House, we the people of our little neighborhood took the time to get to know one another, took the time to look out for one another.

How's that hope and change working out for you?

I too am disappointed when because of "PC", the Daily Breeze or for that matter any media won't print a suspect description. And the media and police want "John Q. Public" to get involved in the fight against crime???

As a teenager I grew up in Inglewood and Hawthorne. Nice towns, beautiful CLEAN streets back then. Now look at it. Third world one side, getto the other. Police road blocks and barricades every other day. Oh its not the lowlife that live there though.
