should mexican gardeners have their leaf blowers taken away?

What's wrong with these Mexican gardeners that they PERSIST on using their ILLEGAL and banned gasoline leaf blowers creating noise pollution throughout LA?

It's bad enough they can't exercise family control, but why this?

What is there motive?

Who are the idiots who are hiring them?

We always hear what hard workers Mexicans are, how about they pick up a broom!!!

So we can't use modern technology? Plenty of gringos use gas bowers too!

i live in santa rosa CA. mexicans(from mexico) are everywhere here in sonoma county. i lost my licence a year ago and have to ride my bike about 2 miles through a neighborhood multiple times daily. most homes have lawns. i always hear, see and pray to god dont smell or inhale the emissions from a typical stihl backback leafblower(mexican special) its their secret weopon to kill gringos! honestly if you have ever been unfortunate enough to be downwind of one of these leafblowers or trimmers, its pure death or as i call it a hell on earth. yet this behavior is encouraged and repeated predictably time and time again on almost every block and sometimes more.
yes other races use these. they are equally atfault. blowers are banned in twenty cities in CA including berkeley.

gas powered leafblowers in neiborhoods was made illegal in LA over ten years ago.
these inconsiderate greedy gardeners claim they just want to work.
thats not the problem.
the problem is on a regular weekly basis, the emissions generated. its not fair to those downwind or the environment. having experienced being downwind first hand know that its harmful and hurts to breath these absolutely horrid emissions.
these gardeners should not be able to routinely hurt the environment and others.
its gotten out of hand. every week these fools are back polluting, all with gas powered equipment. gas mowers suck too and everyones got a lawn.
you get potentially sickened every week. i was poisoned by two mexicans with stihl trimmers running all afternoon. just so the guy could have a perfect hedge. my house was downwind and the exhaust was blowing against our house. it came in through old windows and made me extremely sick. i couldnt really smell it so it may have been carbon monoxide. i could definately smell it out front. smell isnt the word. die is closer.
this is repeated almost on every block sometimes more, every week. not a day passes i dont hear the sickening moaning wine of a gas powered leafblower somewhere in the neighborhood. i got sick from three of my neigbors. non of them give a damn. yes i asked them to refrain from hiring those who exclusively use gas powered. to no availe. only hostility and ignorance.

the smell/exhaust can force you to close windows.
electrics are much cheaper starting at 20.00. the have plent of power. i have one. its loud but very powerful.
it would help so much if these were banned. it would decrease animosity created by the exodus of mexicans. its not right that the mexicans should come here and destroy the environment and hurt people. the throwaway cars they drive also have horrid exhaust.
the US is helping you and your future family create a better life. please dont ruin it here.
dont turn this into mexico city. have respect for the environment and others in your new home. this isnt mexico. we care about the environment here.

Yes, they should absolutely have their leaf blowers taken away and given a nice and quiet broom! Most of them are illegal aliens and shouldn't be hired in the first place.

I don't care who uses leaf blowers, I hate leaf blowers, people who use leaf blowers usually always use them in the early morning waking me up,the leafs are always blown over on to my property leving me with a mess , leaf blowers could be banned tomorrow for all I care !

That's a pretty good point Jose.As a matter of fact,most gringos won't even do that.And even though I can't help but notice the crunch that your race puts on employment for mine,I believe that it is caused by the fact that there aren't enough go getters among us white-boys.So,if you are in fact legal and belong here,then use whatever tools complete your task most effeciently.However,if you are illegal and don't belong here,know this.There are only so many resources available to sustain those who do belong here.And though I don't blame any of you personally for wanting the best you can get out of life,we have to be realistic and say that there are only so many places available at the table.

Mexican gardeners, for the most part, are an ignorant group of arrogant noise makers who act like they're doing everyone a favor by accomplishing some critical service to society. For you, latino land tillers here are a few
suggestions from your employers:

1. Learn English, or stay in Mexico.

2. Get Electric Leaf blowers.

3. Get a better attitude. Read the definition
of "customer service."

4. Don't start work outside bedroom window
before noon on the weekends.

5. Tell residents when you're descending on the property.
Particularly for people with pets.

Here's a news flash -you freak animals out, so why don't you try this:
Knock on the door and say, we're here.
Or, if you know what email is -send a note saying
"we'll be there tomorrow."
