You really should study what socialism and communism really are. Democrats can only thrive in a non communistic or socialistic society like ours.

Democrats are just as much for capitalism as Republicans. No true Democrat in this country would ever want to see all of our means of production controlled by the Federal government -- and all the powers of the individual states to be completely surrendered to the state.

In the society we live in, there are always going to be plenty of hardworking, smart, educated people who just don't make as much money as others. And they deserve health care, fire, and police protection -- as well as safe roads to drive on -- and public assistance if they need it. So what's wrong with some of our tax dollars being spent on good people who work just as hard but for a lot less pay than others.

Lets face it, there's only so much room for doctors and lawyers and factory workers in our country. Some of us have to work shitty jobs. Wouldn't you cry if you couldn't place an order for a Big Mac? And isn't it nice to have buildings and homes? How about sanitation and sewage? And isn't it nice to have grocery stores and baggers and cashiers to service you? All these people work very hard. But they lack the wages others receive and can't afford health insurance and other basic necessities of life. So give them a break already!
