That's great but here's my question...are they actually hiring local crew members or the ones that like to come here and claim to be residents taking our local's jobs and then packing up and going home when it's all over. I see reports on what films and T.V. shows are filming in NM but no one reports on all the out of staters stealing our jobs but claiming to be residents so they all get the tax breaks and such.

Typical governor Richardson BS, it takes him to make this announcement? Is he the governor or is he in charge of film and art development for the state. With his huge tax benefits for the film industry why would they make it anywhere else? You would think he had much more important stuff to be worried about.

I'm sure Richardson can relate to a vampire movie being he and his cronies are sucking New Mexico dry.

funny that the OUTGOING mayor and the governor feel that they have to announce any little thing that they fell will make themselves look better. In others states, the politicians do not really make these statements. No one told us what movies were being filmed in Cali.

It shows how selfcentered these two are that they have to make every little announcement. "Jeff gordon's semi, that hauls his racecar, will drive through New Mexico today. However it will not stop on it's way back from Las Vegas."

the book and original movie, Let the Right One In, is worthy of checking out.

I hope Hollywood doesn't screw this one up, but I can already tell that by picking NM (and assumedly chosing a desert locale to tell the story) we are in for a real shitt-eating-rancid-anal-gland -festival of poo.

I agree that it is pathetic, yet I do not see how it is funny. Am I missing the joke?

In Sweden they are making a film about a foreign governor that is disconnected from his constituents. Has a food bill that most families could not afford. Runs around the world as if he mattered, use your wide-angle lens for photos. Hires friends and political payoffs for 6 figure salaries in created positions. Spends time on the phone trying to cover his tracks from his corrupt past and doing all this while propped up in a public position, heading a state that is in financial ruin.

Vampires don't have to worry about cholersterol? I think any vampire that tried to bite something that fat-ridden would keel over and die of a heart attack.

Hey, "Let Me In" is the name of an old Jefferson Airplane song, the first one in fact, when it was Tolle Anderson who was the lead singer before Grace Slick's time. Speaking of vampires, do you know why women find them so fascinating? Well, the legend has been cleaned up for the shriveled-sphincter set. Vampires didn't need to bite women, they just went to women who were menstruating at the time- thus their popularity amongst women.

Maybe the first time, just purely based on body displacement, but after that first bite, when the vampire got a contact inebriation by drinking Bill Richardson's alcohol-saturated blood, it wouldn't EVER come back for a second bite! He/she wouldn't want to be Flying While Intoxicated.

Daily Horoscope for December 8

Leo

If you're worried about running up big debts in what is usually one of the most expensive months of the year, start keeping a running total of how much money you've spent so far. You might have to restrict the amount you spend on Christmas presents, or make other savings in order to stay within your budget, but you realize the folly of ending up severely out of pocket.
