What I'd like to know is why aren't the names of the businesses published anywhere? If they've been published I haven't seen it. It could help in identifying this dweeb. This is all happening very close to where I live.

Plus, somebody robbed a woman in the parking lot of Farmers and Merchants bank on November 12. Lame LB Report and the P-T give no description of the robber at all, except to say the guy had a gun and fled in a vehicle. Sounds like it could be this geek, but we'll never know because "ace reporters" left it out.

This guy has to live in the "Plaza" area or "South of Conant." The locations of the robberies give it away.
Nah no no. Remember this is a NERD! A guy who wears dainty white tennis shoes to a robbery. Only blacks rob right around the corner from where they live. Even mexicans aren't that dumb. A nerd would more likely be intelligent about it. He's probably from out of the county. Maybe he knows some places in the area because they had a star trek type convention in Long Beach a while back.

I agree, and I think the LBPD should up security at Barnes and Noble, and the Long Beach Aquarium. He won't be able to resist.

Exactly! It's so unusual that he is sure to get caught! Unlike other "ethnicities", where it's an everyday occurance, this idiot stands out! And, sadly, he must be a little more intelligent...he has managed to rob an excessive amount of establishments and not shot a single person...hmmmm, I am just saying...at least he hasn't killed anyone!
Yep. He's using the bell curve to his benefit, since a white nerd is highly unlikely to be pulling out a gun, people let their guard down, as opposed to if a black kid in a hoody walks into a bookstore, a smart clerk will be standing with a phone in her hand waiting to dial the last "1" of "911."

HE HAS NOTHING TO FEAR IN THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD. THE COPS WE HAVE WON'T DO ANYTHING, BUT TELL THE VICTIMS, " I COULD ARREST HIM FOR THE CRIMES, BUT WHAT GOOD WOULD THAT DO ? " OR THEY WILL GIVE THE USUAL EXCUSE THAT THE LAW HAS THIER HANDS TIED BEHIND OUR BACK, MEANING WE CAN'T MAKE AN ARREST. Seriously they told me that they could not arrest a man whom exposed his penis to a 6yr old girl while drunk in public, because the law has thier hands tied behind thier back !!! And they wounder why people decide to take the law into thier own hands, to resolve a reoccering issue...

I have a feeling the gun is a toy but when it is pointed at you it still scares you. Yeah anyone could probably kick this little SOB's ass but still....you don't know if the gun is real or not.
He's hit some places 2 times. He's not very smart. He's only getting about $40 at each place because he chooses places like a used book store or a crepe place or an ice cream store (in NOVEMBER?Seriously November idiot are you kidding!!) robbing them between 1pm to 6:30pm--only during the week days never the weekends Not really busy days or times. He probably has to be home when his parents get home from work. Really hope he meets up with someone who kicks his ass or he gets shot by a store owner fed up with this BS.

the businesses do not want their names published. When you own a retail food place it kind of scares off customers to know the place has been robbed. With everything a business owner has to deal with in the City of LB, adding robbery to the list would surely put you out of business. Would you go to your favorite smoothie place if you knew it was robbed multiple times??

Wouldn't you want to know if a business is being robbed if you go shopping with your kids? Don't consumer's have a right to know? The Press Telegram is being quite sleazy witholding the names, and may be putting people at risk for no good reason.

The fact that this nerd still running around loose offends me!
See, THIS is what happens when you cut police spending. In the LBPD, when the money gets cut back, the first thing to go is the Nerd Unit. And now, we're paying the price.
I was in the Science Fiction section of Barnes and Noble the other day, and everybody around me looked like this guy! I was scared to death I was going to be robbed! I'm afraid to go to the Long Beach Aquarium! I was watching the radio controlled gliders flying off the bluff, and I couldn't relax!
I can't keep living this way! LBPD CATCH THIS NERD!!!

The Press Telegram is not being "sleazy" about withholding the names of the businesses. They are trying to NOT victimize the business owners again. It's almost impossible to keep your doors open during this recession. To have negative publicity does nothing. This kids is capable of robbing anytime anywhere so unless you want to stay locked inside your home and NEVER go anywhere you really don't know where he will strike next. The PT has no way of knowing which busines this punk will hit and publishing the businesses that have already been his victims won't help anyone.

Hey Nerd-bandit-wannabe: I almost caught you today. You think you are all tuff and stuff. Tuff? Not so much when you have a big 'ol canister of pepper spray pointed at your lilly white face. What pussy you are!! Next time you won't be looking at pepper spray, instead it will be my shotgun.

I'll be waiting for you.
