debbie Lombard, IL	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #1 Jul 28, 2010 does anyone remember the bear that drank orange pop?? i think it was around the 1960's early 70's. he was in a cage by a grocery store on county 1 and maybe s. eagle road. we would go and buy him a bottle of orange pop and he drank the whole thing. every year we would go on vacation and stay at a resort on mitchell lake and made sure we saw him.
Chris Oakland, CA	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #2 Aug 15, 2010 I live in california and I used to visit my granparents(the Hoffmeyers) at Whitefish lake. I remember stopping at the gas station and seeing the bear. The person who owned it said they sold a lot of pop.

My family owned one of those fishing resorts about a mile away from that bear. That bear and I shared a lot of pop when I was growing up.
