Review: Affordable Dentures - Walter E Schneider DDS

I dealt with Andrea for all of the admin-related items -- and she handled everything that I needed quickly and efficiently. She was a pleasure to work with and provided excellent customer service and a great experience overall. I would highly recommend this location to anyone!

They are not a place you want to go to. They will be extremely nice, manipulative until they get you hooked and have your money. Then you will get the snotty, condensing comments, mostly from Megan to basically go away. Megan is the problem in the practice, arrogant, snotty, openly provocative and derogatory.
On one hand they tell you to come in for "adjustments", but for the most part, especially with Megan, when you do come in, you'll get a barrage of innuendos, snotty remarks. The actions don't match the rhetoric.
I wish I would have looked somewhere else now. I doubt if I could get my money back for the second denture to go somewhere else. Also, there is a question about bone grafts that all other dentists said I need and this guy who said I don't. I think they are bubble gum artists.

I would recommend this office to anybody in need of dentures! I am very young and have problem with my teeth since I was a child. Obviously the choice to get dentures at such a young age is a hard decision, but it is now one that I do not regret because of them. They did an amazing job, even removed all of the roots and burrs that the butcher from four years ago left behind! I don't know the quality of the cheaper dentures, but I got the highest quality ones they had and I couldn't have designed a prettier smile myself. I am only three days out and the swelling is minimal and I am already able to eat. As for the staff, they were awesome! Dr. Schnieder took the time to sit with me and answer all of my questions and concerns. He was surprisingly quick, which to some people sounds like a bad thing, but I very much appreciated it. The whole staff was very patient with me, which again was very appreciated. I was almost too discouraged to go there because of some of the reviews I had read, but in the end, it was a great choice and I an extremely happy with the outcome!

And oh yea, I DID NOT have the same problems with Megan that BLL did. Maybe she just doesn't put up with peoples crap...

Was the dentures that you got very expensive out of pocket and the reason i ask is because i am very young as well and need them, I have no insurance.

I cant find Medicaid denture programs. Even one where copay for dentures islow enough...Camille

I will call the office, but can you tell me what they ended up costing you? Did you also have to have teeth pulled? I have no Insurance, and will be paying out of pocket, and I am under 50.

DGS-they have a fee schedule online. I too am an out-of-pocket payer. I have an appointment in a couple of days as I am very unhappy with my very expensive current provider. Here is the link:

It's her friggin job to put up with customers crap. It's called customer service. Get a clue.

Yea I agree it's called customers service. Treating people like crap will cost people like this one day someone might bust their jaw for being snotty and cocky, maybe they will lose a few teeth. Haha.

Do you know if they offer free consultations? I would for sure want an immediate denture, any idea how much that costs? I don't see that on their fee schedule.

Megan did an awesome job for us and was very upbeat. One thing folks have to remember here is if you treatsome with disrespect and meaness, that is what you might get back in return. My husbands teeth fit him perfectly and is able to eat again. We went in asking for just the upper plate and new from another dentist that if we got the upper plate that he would have problems because the lower plate he had was worn down alot. So we went for the full set of the custom style and he has not had any issues what so ever. You can go somewhere is and maybe get better service, but you may have to pay. The other place we went wanted 1300 bucks just for the upper replacement - we got a whole new set for a lot less then that and had no complaints with their service. Megan as you say was extremly nice to us, maybe because we greeted with a smile and was not mean to her. Remember you reap what you sew......
