Number of cars city employees in Chicopee take home is fairly low

That is great that chicopee only has 5 cars in use. I think all citys and towns should do the same. Let some of these City employees take there own cars to work like most of us. I also feel that some of these officals should not be driving SUV's and they should be downgraded to an economy car to save the tax payers money.

Those include, Mayor Michael Bissonette, the police chief, the fire chief, the superintendent of public works and the city treasurer.

The Mayor drives an SUV as does the public works superintendent. The two chief's have Ford Tauruses and the treasurer has a Crown Victoria.

A Crown Victoria? How much money is he lugging around to need such a large car?
