Safety concerns inside CT prisons

The solution to this problem is simple: carry out their sentences now, instead of leaving them in prison soaking up our tax dollars.

Who cares! They should just let all these animals kill each other in there. Just open all their doors and let them have a free for all. Less trash wasting good oxygen.

And in order to make some cash on it - lets televise it on pay-per-view. It'd give "survivor" a run for its money i'd bet.

I wonder how long it'll be until Erin S. logs on to tell us how inhumane our points of view are, and how these are human beings we are talking about.

I hope this catches on at other prisons, maybe someone will get Peeler's brother Adrian.

who freaking cares? They are in prison they get it better then me. Free food, tv,and NO HIGH GAS PRICES TO WORRY ABOUT!!! Maybe i should kill some one so i can have everyone pay for me.

inmates on death row gets way to much freedom

let them rot there we dont miss them nothing but trouble.

Leave Erin S alone. She's probably busy doing her weekly conjugal visits, with all the poor, deprived inmates. Maybe she's lobbying the state legislature for mirrors on the ceiling of the conjugal visit room. Don't you know some of these cells only have 300 cable channels, and I heard the jaccuzzi at Somers was broken for three hours last week... That's outrageous. The ACLU is suing because the five star chef who normally prepares dinner for the inmates was out sick, and the warden was only able to find a four star to replace him. These poor inmates shouldn't have to eat 4 star cuisine.

In this case, the inmates are literally running the asylum. Thanks to the powers that be,we as a country, are rocketing toward third world status.

Who gives a flying f@#$ about these dirt bags anyway? I agree with the earlier comment----let them all loosebehind prison walls and have a free for all.....hopefully more of these inmates will be killing eachother...I think its wonderful news and we need to hear of it happening more often!!

Well, that explains why she's opposed to the death penalty. She'd be out of business! LOL!!!!

Its obvious that corrections officers don't do there job. Its a shame that someone had to die for it to be investigated. When your in prison nothing you do or say matters you are just another number!

Safety concerns in prison? Are you kidding me? These are hardened criminals who in a heart beat would still be committing crimes if they wer out. Are they not pampered enough with three square meals, clean clothes, medical benefits that working families don't have the benefit of getting, the chance to earn Bachelor degrees which we the tax payer fund? Give me a break.

how obvious is it to you ?
obvious like, supervising and monitoring over 1000 inmates at any giving time of day.
please, mighty one, advise how overworked and understaffed corrections officers can and could do a better job ? if your theory is to be believed, we would have the meat wagons at every prison and jail in the state of connecticut if obviously we weren't doing our job.
keep your obvious nose and mind to yourself. or better yet, come and join the ranks of our corrections officers, every little bit counts,we could always need your help.
