House Ethics Committee votes to investigate Rep. Laura Richardson

Waters doesn't walk on water. Waters should be held accountable. She keeps pointing fingers at others. Remember she supported Acorn so how can she be honest. Wake up people. Polititions should be held to a higher level.

Whomever runs against her next year now has more fodder to put on their campaign brochures. This should look real nice right next to a picture of Richardson and Fidel Castro chumming it up. She's makes us all so proud here in the 37th that she is our representative.

Of course she received special treatment and of course if the Ethics committee finds against her she will play the race card. She was not qualified to hold any of the offices she acquired. She is a disgrace to the legacy of Juanita Millender-McDonald and should admit her wrongdoings and then resign.

Rep. Laura Richardson will be investigated based on the information that has been publicly disclosed. I don't think there is any need to
bring the "race card" argument into the discussion.
It is interesting that when people wanted to use
the code language of "reverse racism" ( instead
of racism ,which applies to any person regardless of race)nobody claimed that the phrase was using
the race card. Congresswoman Richardson has made
some bad decisions (example-Visiting Cuba and
speaking in positive terms about Fidel Castro)
but ultimately her constituents should determine
her political future at the ballot box.

I hope this committee s-hammers her just in time for the primary next year. Send her packing!

It's about time Richardson is called to be accountable...everyone else has to pay their bills, taxes and be responsible. Since when does anyone become immune from paying their taxes and DONING THE RIGHT THING!?

What world are you living in. I agree with you regarding the part of being investigated for her wrongdoings, but Richardson is a master of playing the race card. She will definately play it.

Leave Laura Richardson alone. She ONLY represents valueless "Long Beach" Democrats. We knew every degrading thing that she had done BEFORE she was judged plenty good enough by our Democrat voting majority.

Whats the problem? Just because no other Democratic majority would have considered L.R. qualified to be "dog catcher" matters not. Sure, Democrats around the Nation think their Party's candidates should be representatives worthy of confidence and pride. Long Beach voters don't give a crap.

There are two stands. One for Repunlicans and anothe rfor Democrats. Explain why Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, Charlie Rangle, Alan Molohan and other Dems are are protected by the very investigators and Dem Committees while the witch hunts against Republicans come up with zero ? Politicas as usual? GOP are held to a higher standard by thier constituents where DE\ms are expected to be corrupt, so the Dems survive while the Reps fall. Repeatedly, we see Republican politicians lose in the primaries as thier base have less tolerance for corruption while the Dems enjoy scandals and are rewarded by being re elected. From Obama's Attornet General, Eric Holder's refusal to investigate ACORN, and voter intimidation, to Pelosi's military contractors kickbacks, its even more of the same.

Impeach this crooked woman - then arrest her .
