Did anyone else feel a double boom or concussion over head at about 3:08 pm today?

Sure did. I looked to see if lamp was shaking, but it wasn't. So I was relieved it was not an earthquake. It was very loud here in Los Altos area. Glad to see a comment.

Thanks for confirmation Bar. Yeah here by the airport it was more a pressure wave that hit the roof of my house and I heard it sitting at my computer. Glad I wasn't the only one.

It didn't appear on the USGS website. Was working and some thought it was a truck going by. But no truck went by. Didn't feel like an earthquake with just one jolt and that's it. Ever feel/hear this hard of a sonic boom? I never have.

Not to worry, folks. It was probably just a test of some multibillion dollar government project to determine if the residents could actually hear a sonic boom over their neighborhoods, or not. The reason we have never heard one that loud before is because nothing that big has ever broken the sound barrier before.

I felt yesterday's in Huntington Beach as I was waiting on the pick up line at the kids school. None of the people around me noticed. My entire car swayed and I felt it in my chest.

Your entire car swayed, yet nobody else noticed anything? That does not make sense. If you felt something in your chest, maybe it was a minor heart attack?

WHY is it the military deny any part of this? Then they come across like this was nothing.
