Long Beach Rite Aid robbery: 1 suspect killed, 1 hurt in officer-involved shooting

In this part of LB, most thought the perps would be Blacks. They were.

San Antonio and Atlantic is in pricey Bixby Knolls, one of the so called beter parts of the city. LBPD is definately out there, fast response, great training. A superior police department to on functioning LAPD.

This crew of armed robbers was not content to just rob Rite Aide, but even robbed a person in the parking lot. Oh, the guy who go away was described as a male black, so one can only assume that his two partners who were shot were not Japanese. Wonder were this ude is laying up today, knowing that his buddy who was shot but lived will soon be giving his worthless ass up.

Build massive prisons in the Mojave Desert and get the death penalty going in Cal!

Just went on to LB's Press Telegram..they had one skimpy paragraph and would not event print the description of the suspect who got away nor other pertinet facts. News outlets throughout our state, reporting the suspect is male black, clothing worn and giving extensive coverage.

When I was a kid, we had friends in bixby knolls near the golf course. I drove up there not long ago, just to see how the neighborhood looked, and found the community had been gated off. Looks like whites are hunkering down, while trying to make it harder for the blacks to wander around in there. Really depressing to see. That used to be a wonderful neighborhood, and a great place to raise kids. No it's a low-security prison, with the hoodrats running amok, while the law-abiding citizens in voluntary lockdown.
Long Beach used to be a neat little beach community. Now it has become such a broken-down, scary and depressing place.

Call in the Natl Guard and put a sunset curfew in place for all areas North of Carson and West of Cherry before things get even worse. These unparented Blacks cannot be allowed free movement in LB.

Hello, SPL. The PT has to be PC. Anyway, Long Beach is a very masochistic place. But I am also glad the LBPD got the best of this crook.

I wonder if one of those Hispanics in the white suits were in front of that Rite-Aid. LOL. Anyway, I'll be checking out SP for a place to live after work. LB is one big headache.

Many apts buidlings, small to medium one's, in the Pt Fermin area.
South on Pacific Ave, past Ft Mac, crisscross the area above Cabrillo Beach, then going all the way to Pt Fermin Park, then make a loop up Gaffey.. nice 1 bdrs with parking at about $1,000, rent control in SP in all buildings built before 1977, which most of them are..Yesterday was a scorcher, even in DT SP, but once past Ft Mac it was nice and cool. Rents in SP are are a little lower than LB, across the board..If you do rent make sure it is a Rent Controlled property. DT SP, near Whale n Ale, has a few decent 1 bdrs at $800, but in the hood, albiet still not as bad as LBC..I'm having coffee right now (8 AM) in my patio, it's cool, calm, hear birds singing....Good Luck

Anyone care to make sense out of he above. Most would have no clue as to it being an acutal name of a person.

The Daily Breeze is reporting that a Jonte Loven House, 24, of Long Beach, was the armed robber shot dead in the Rite Aide Robbery.

He was not given out any Loven that night when he burst into the Rite Aide with a gun and robbed it, along with his accomplice. Even robbed people in the parking lot. One can only imagine the terror felt by the patrons and the staff.

Once again, bravo to our great LBPD. No Layoff's at the PD, Mr Mayor. Cut everything else, find the money!

Great point too often overlooked. The victims who get the gun stuck in their face--with the gatekeeper of their destiny being some socially derilect, shakey-handed, dumb, bug-eyed black boy--remain victims long after the black boy has been shot down or deposited into prison, but they won't receive recompense from the wretched government-sponsored nothing.

The third dude who got away is probably thinking his hommie in the hospital will not give home up. Back in the day, even the survivor of a robbery crew would be charged with Murder I, when one of their accomplices got shot dead in a robbery by a cop on store owner.
