Overtaxed and underrepresented Government controlled home "owners" should seek to get through the "deaf ears" of their revolutionary Council representatives and insist they vote against this loony scheme.*(fat chance of that)*
Long Beach eliminated parkways throughout the city to widen the roadways to accommodate heavily taxed, licensed, and insured motor vehicle traffic that is driven by Government licensed automobile drivers. Afterward, the revolutionary ruling class used hard earned taxpayer money to make cuts at curb corners for the purpose of encouraging dangerous skateboarders to use narrowed sidewalk rights of way which has the effect of endangering the safety of pedestrians.
Already, revolutionary Council has imposed another heavy tax burden upon ordinary worker *("middle")* class "owners" of aging Government controlled downtown condominiums for the purpose of their paying to clean up the mess made by untaxed, unlicensed, and uninsured unruly bicycle drivers.
Now, revolutionary Council wants to use scarce pedestrian rights of ways to put bicycle stations in residential areas as well as in business districts where "the Long Beach premium" is charged shoppers by Government licensed businesses and service providers.
One can only imagine the noise and disruption of peace and quietude this latest loony scheme of revolutionary Council will cause, not to speak of the increased criminal activity that is sure to be engaged in by the taxpayer supported Thug people who are certain to be drawn to these dangerous locations. This at a time when revolutionary Council is cutting back on EXISTING police services because they claim they haven't enough hard earned taxpayer money. The fact is, revolutionary Council has plenty taxpayer money. The problem is that they waste it on loony schemes such as this.
There is nothing wrong with children deciding to ride bicycles. Bicycle riding is a normal part of growing up. What is wrong is revolutionary Council using hard earned taxpayer money to encourage spaced out adult potheads and taxpayer supported Thug people to slide "under the radar" to threaten the safety of city residents, "owners" of Government controlled homes, and elderly widow ladies.
